Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nFile claims using all appropriate forms and attachments.\n\nResearch account denials and file written appeals, when necessary.\n\nEvaluate the information received from the client to determine which insurance to bill and attain necessary attachments or supporting documentation to send with each claim.\n\nResearch account information to determine the necessary attachments or supporting documentation to send with each claim.\n\nEnsure the integrity of each claim that is billed.\n\nDocument in detail all efforts in CUBS system and any other computer system necessary.\n\nVerify patient information and benefits.\n\nAppeal accounts in writing.\n\nDraft letters to clients.\n\nAdditional Duties and Responsibilities:\nMeet specified goals and objectives as assigned by management on a regular basis.\n\nMaintain confidentiality of account information at all times.\n\nMaintain awareness of and actively participate in the Corporate Compliance Program.\n\nAssist with other projects as assigned by management\n\nMaintain good working relationships with state and Federal agencies.\n\nResolve accounts in a timely manner.\n\nMaintain a neat and orderly work station\n\nEducational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.\n\n1 - 3 years experience in insurance billing preferred.\n\nKnowledge of all insurance payers preferred.\n\nProficient PC knowledge and the ability to type 30-40 wpm.\n\nProfessional written and verbal communication skills.\n\nCapacity to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy work environment.\n\nOrganization and time management skills.\n\nCapability to present oneself in a courteous and professional manner at all times.\n\nAbility to stay on task with little or no supervision.\n\nWorking Conditions:\nCall Center environment.\n\nMust be able to sit for extended periods of time.\n\nBenefits including but not limited to: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, Paid Time Off.\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
