Our small engineering team consists of ambitious, experienced software engineers, who have built and scaled mission-critical systems at companies including Adyen, Miro, and Microsoft.\nThe role\nAs a (Senior) Backend Engineer, you'll design, build and maintain the systems that power the platform. Of course, we are flexible if you prefer to work from home once a week to focus.\n\nComfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment with few predefined processes.\n\nA strong track record of building, shipping, and operating production backend systems.\n\nA bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.\n\nExperience building and operating production software at scale.\n\nStrong experience with a statically typed language such as TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, or Kotlin.\n\nSolid understanding of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL\n\nExperience working with (private) cloud infrastructure.\n\nStrong engineering fundamentals, with an emphasis on testing, clean architecture, and maintainable code.\nAbove all, we value ambition, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow.
