The role involves working closely with system owners and application teams to drive timely remediation while maintaining visibility into vulnerability, patching, and compliance status.\nYour key responsibilities\nPerform regular vulnerability scans using tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.\nAnalyze vulnerability scan results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk.\nCoordinate remediation and mitigation activities with system owners and application teams.\nTrack vulnerability remediation progress, metrics, and compliance status.\nMaintain vulnerability management documentation, processes, and procedures.\nAdminister and maintain IBM BigFix infrastructure for patch deployment and compliance reporting.\nDevelop and test custom Fixlets, baselines, and automation scripts.\nSchedule and deploy operating system and third-party patches across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.\nSupport vulnerability remediation across Windows and Linux server environments.\nMonitor patch deployment successes and failures and troubleshoot deployment issues.\nGenerate compliance reports and dashboards to support internal reporting and audit requirements.\nWhat you bring\nHands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and management using Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar tools.\nExperience administering IBM BigFix and managing enterprise patch deployments.\nPractical knowledge of vulnerability remediation for Windows and Linux servers.\nExperience deploying operating system and third-party patches across Windows, Linux, and/or macOS environments.\nAbility to analyze vulnerability findings, understand risk and prioritize remediation activities.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively with infrastructure, application, and system-owner teams.\nStrong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience developing and maintaining IBM BigFix Fixlets and baselines.\nExperience creating automation scripts to support patching or vulnerability remediation activities.\nExposure to multiple vulnerability management platforms, particularly Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.\nExperience preparing security, vulnerability, patching, and compliance dashboards for internal stakeholders or audits.\nExperience supporting vulnerability and patch management across a mixed Windows, Linux, and macOS environment.\nThe impact you’ll make\nIn this role, you will contribute directly to reducing security exposure by helping teams identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across the technology environment.
