The successful candidate will provide treasury and payments production application support to our client base.\nAbout the Role\nAs an AWS Production Support Engineer, you will provide critical production application support for treasury and payments solutions used by global financial institutions and corporate clients. Success in this role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders while supporting a 24x7 operational environment.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nProvide production support for treasury and payments applications, ensuring high availability and operational excellence.\nSupport cloud-hosted environments across AWS and Azure, ensuring optimal application performance and stability.\nYou will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, incident resolution, service availability, and exceptional client experience across business-critical applications.\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service disruptions, and client-reported issues within agreed service levels.\nMonitor application performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nManage incidents, service requests, and problem records using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.\nCollaborate with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and business teams to restore services and improve platform reliability.\nAnalyze application logs, system metrics, and database queries to diagnose complex technical issues.\nWhat You Bring\n6+ years of Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and production support activities in cloud-based environments.\nExperience supporting Java-based enterprise applications and containerized environments using Kubernetes\nStrong SQL skills with the ability to analyze data and troubleshoot application issues.\nExperience in application production support, client services, or technical support roles within banking, treasury, payments, or financial services environments.\nStrong understanding of financial operations, treasury workflows, and payment processing environments.\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Windows and/or Linux operating systems administration and troubleshooting.\nExperience using incident management and ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills with proven client-facing experience.\nWhat we offer you\nAn opportunity to support global treasury clients using a leading FIS treasury solution.\nLearning and career development across product support, treasury, technology, and client service.\nExposure to global clients and cross-functional teams.\nHealth and family protection benefits, career mobility opportunities, learning offerings, and an adaptable home-office work model, subject to applicable company policies.\nPrivacy Statement\nFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
