About the Role

You will analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Billing Platform solutions that support complex billing and revenue management processes. In this role, you will configure, customize, develop, integrate, test, and deploy Billing Platform capabilities that drive operational efficiency and business outcomes. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to design high-quality solutions and ensure reliable system performance. Success in this role is measured by solution effectiveness, system stability, timely delivery, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

• Analyze business requirements and design Billing Platform configurations and customizations aligned to business objectives.
• Develop application components, pages, reports, queries, workflows, and integrations to support billing operations.
• Create technical designs and implement enhancements using Billing Platform development tools and best practices.
• Build and optimize REST and SOAP API integrations with enterprise applications and external platforms.
• Develop advanced reports, formulas, widgets, and custom solutions using Billing Platform Query Language (BPQL).
• Execute technical and functional testing to validate solution quality, performance, and reliability.
• Support release management, deployments, migrations, and production implementations.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to define requirements and validate solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, recommend innovative solutions, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

What you bring

• Experience with Billing Platform Billing and/or Billing Platform Revenue Recognition, including technical certifications where available.
• Advanced Billing Platform development experience, including reporting, BPQL, widget development, API integrations, and custom development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web application development practices.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and optimizing REST and SOAP API-based integrations.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL query development, data modeling, and database performance optimization.
• Experience delivering solutions across the full software development lifecycle using iterative and incremental methodologies.
• Strong understanding of application configuration, customization, security concepts, and system integration patterns.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of moderate complexity with a high degree of independence.
• Typically requires a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with subscription billing, revenue management, or financial systems platforms.
• Experience with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Oracle, Zuora, Aria, or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of financial services industry processes, controls, and business operations.
• Experience with release management tools, deployment processes, and environment management.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to technical best practices.
• Additional certifications in enterprise applications, integrations, cloud technologies, or related disciplines.
