We are responsible for designing and overseeing the functional solution for major client implementations and contributing to the solution design. We collaborate with several teams and the client to implement client requirements while advising clients on best practices and maintaining governance throughout the requirements phase. Our team members act as thought leaders, ensuring that the architecture aligns with business goals and technical standards.\nWhat you will be doing:\nYou will participate in the delivery of card migration programmes as a co-lead owning the end-to-end requirements and solution design or act as a business subject matter owning the requirements and solution design within your area of expertise. As a co-lead you will work closely with clients and senior stakeholders to shape efficiently best-practice outcomes and ensure strong governance throughout while negotiating with the intention of achieving the best suited solution approach for clients and FIS. Acting as a bridge between business and technology, you will guide teams, remove obstacles, and ensure solutions are clearly defined, validated, and successfully implemented.\nThe key responsibilities of the role will be:\nParticipate in large and complex client engagement to lead and own various requirements elicitation sessions. \nAct as a Business SME providing product consultancy support to clients and educate clients on system features and functionality where required.\nAct as a Requirements Lead having overall accountability and responsibility for the requirements phase of the project.\nConsult on best practice solutions for meeting the needs and improving efficiency and effectiveness of the client's future state.\nOwn development requirements matrix, manage feasibility review with product and technology teams, and obtain client sign-off of the agreed development scope.\nWork with product and technology teams to obtain high-level development approaches and effort estimates for identified gaps.\nManage expectations and needs of clients during the requirements cycle regarding the functionality of the solution and making recommendations about the usage where appropriate.\nManage in a matrix management manner a team of senior or lead Architects for assigned projects and be responsible for assigning, directing and monitoring the work. \nProvide direction on gaps, complex decisions, integrations, and proposed solutions to senior and lead Architects.\nPlan requirement workstream resourcing, mentor Senior Architects, resolve escalations, and reallocate work when required.\nWork with senior stakeholders within FIS and Client organisations and build and maintain strong relationships and ensure proper governance and management is in place. \nHelp defining standards and advise on best practices.\nFacilitate discussions that minimize unnecessary development while meeting client requirements.\nParticipate in Migration Strategy and Data Mapping activities, explaining agreed configurations and non-development workarounds.\nIdentify and document migration impacts arising from functional requirements and proposed solutions.\nIdentify, escalate, and monitor project risks with Programme/Project Management.\nMaintain control and governance over the agreed timeline of all discovery related deliverables.
