You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain secure access, strengthen security controls, and respond to emerging threats. This role combines security operations, network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and policy management to ensure secure and reliable services. Success in this role is measured by the effectiveness of security controls, service availability, operational excellence, and timely resolution of security issues.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nMonitor, maintain, and support enterprise firewall, VPN, and authentication technologies.\nImplement and manage security controls to protect systems, networks, and sensitive information.\nConfigure, maintain, and optimize next-generation firewall platforms and security policies.\nInvestigate security events, analyze logs, and troubleshoot network and security issues.\nSupport vulnerability remediation and contribute to threat detection and response activities.\nCollaborate with business and technology teams to understand and address security requirements.\nReview firewall rules and network configurations to align with security standards and best practices.\nSupport secure routing, switching, NAT, VPN, and network segmentation initiatives.\nAssist with project implementations, system upgrades, and customer escalations.\nContribute to continuous improvement of security processes, documentation, and operational procedures.\nWhat you will need:\n1 to 3 years of experience supporting firewall management, network security, or information security operations.\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, ports, protocols, and the OSI model.\nKnowledge of network devices, routing, switching, IPv4, NAT, and VPN technologies.\nFamiliarity with security principles, access controls, authentication, and encryption concepts.\nExperience analyzing logs and troubleshooting network or security-related incidents.\nKnowledge of network and security technologies within enterprise environments.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience in security operations or cyber security environments.\nExperience with Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or Palo Alto firewall technologies.\nKnowledge of BGP, IPsec, policy-based routing, and advanced network security concepts.\nFamiliarity with scripting or automation technologies for operational efficiency.\nExposure to security monitoring, vulnerability management, or threat response practices.\nWhat We Offer you\nAt FIS, you can grow your career as far as you want to take it.
