We are a fast-paced, fun group that believes in customer-centricity and settinga high bar for everything we ship.\nJob Description:\nAs a Product Design Designer II at FIS, you’ll help design the future of banking experience for millions of consumers. This is a position within our new multidisciplinary design group, focusing on a mix of building finance experiences from scratch, redesigning existing SaaS finance products, and contributing to our FIS design system.\nAs a Product Design Designer, you’ll shape the future of financial products used by millions globally, driving creative and strategic design leadership across our platforms.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nCollaborate with senior designers to develop engaging product experiences, participating in projects from concept to execution. \nParticipate in brainstorming sessions, user research activities, and feedback reviews to improve design solutions. \nContribute to the design of financial products, owning specific experiences from conception to development. \nUse design tools like Figma to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that help visualize product features. \nCollaborate with user research, translating findings into journeys that illuminate pain points and potential solutions. \nWork closely with engineering teams to understand technical constraints and ensure designs are feasible, proactively unblocking themselves. \nCreate and communicate working plans, continuously setting expectations with cross-functional partners and management. \nParticipate in critiques, showing work early and often while also contributing to the design quality and fidelity of team members. \nRequired Qualifications: \n 2-3 years of experience in a product design role (internships or freelance work are applicable). \nBasic understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and usability best practices. \nFamiliarity with design software like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.\nEffective storytelling skills and the ability to present designs with impact. \nProficiency in connecting business goals, research insights, and product goals to create and iterate. \nA desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, receiving feedback and applying it to improve your work. \nA portfolio demonstrating relevant projects that showcase your design thinking and problem-solving skills. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in fintech, financial services, or technology industries, including banking, payments, cloud computing, SaaS, or cybersecurity.\nWhat We Offer you:\nAt FIS, you can grow your career as far as you want to take it.
