The Snowflake platform team supports data engineering, platform administration, product onboarding, secure data exchange, cost optimization and regulatory controls across cloud environments.\nWhat you will be doing\nYou will lead the design and delivery of enterprise data-platform capabilities centered on Snowflake. You will combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership to improve secure data sharing, platform automation, governance, performance and operational resilience. You will partner with product, security, cloud and data teams to move complex solutions from design through production.\nLead the design, engineering and support of Snowflake platform capabilities, including account onboarding, data products, secure data exchange and client-facing data services.\nDefine reusable patterns for Snowflake Secure Data Sharing, listings and reader accounts, with appropriate access controls, masking, validation and operational documentation.\nBuild and improve platform automation using SQL, Python, Streamlit, Git-based workflows and infrastructure-as-code practices.\nEstablish and maintain platform controls for role-based access, data classification, encryption, audit evidence and compliance with security requirements.\nOptimize platform performance and cost through workload analysis, warehouse sizing, resource monitoring, budget controls and usage attribution.\nProvide technical direction, review solution designs, resolve complex production issues and mentor engineers across data and cloud platform work.\nWhat you bring\nStrong experience designing and operating enterprise data platforms, with advanced hands-on knowledge of Snowflake administration and engineering.\nProficiency with SQL and Python, plus experience building reliable automation and deployment workflows through Git and continuous delivery practices.\nExperience implementing secure data-sharing, identity and access management, encryption, data protection and least-privilege role models.\nWorking knowledge of public cloud services in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure and their integration with modern data platforms.\nAbility to translate business, security and operational requirements into scalable technical designs and clear implementation plans.\nDemonstrated technical leadership, problem-solving and communication skills across distributed engineering and stakeholder teams.\nBonus if you have\nSnowflake professional certification or comparable advanced platform experience.\nExperience with Databricks, Terraform, Streamlit, Snowflake Cortex or governed AI platform capabilities.\nKnowledge of PCI DSS, SOX or other controls relevant to regulated financial-services data.\nExperience supporting data-product migrations, platform modernization or high-volume client onboarding.\nWhat we offer you\nA competitive salary and benefits.\nA multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities.\nA variety of career development tools, resources and professional education opportunities.\nThe chance to work on some of the most challenging, relevant issues in financial services and technology.\nA work environment built on collaboration, flexibility and respect.\nPrivacy Statement\nFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
