The team partners closely with financial institutions, implementation teams, product development, and operations to deliver high-quality solutions that support evolving client needs and regulatory requirements\nAbout the Role\nAs a Senior Lead Software Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for delivering client-funded enhancements, production implementations, and strategic technology initiatives. This role acts as a bridge between clients, business stakeholders, development teams, and operations to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing platform excellence.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nLead the delivery of client-funded software enhancements and solution implementations.\nManage project requirements, effort estimation, testing coordination, and release planning.\nPartner with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\nCoordinate implementation activities across development, quality assurance, operations, and support teams.\nDrive change management and production deployment activities.\nFacilitate client onboarding and ensure successful implementation outcomes.\nMonitor production performance and support issue resolution efforts.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve delivery processes and solution quality.\nProvide technical leadership and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.\nEnsure solutions meet client expectations, operational standards, and regulatory requirements.\nWhat You Bring\nExtensive experience leading software delivery and implementation projects within financial services or fintech environments.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and production support processes.\nExperience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.\nExperience coordinating efforts across business, technology, and operations teams.\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives from concept through production deployment.\nTechnical Skills\nExperience with one or more of the following technologies is preferred:\nCustom Statement Formatter (CSF) software\nMainframe technologies and production processing environments.\nJCL (Job Control Language).\nCOBOL-based applications.\nEnterprise batch processing and document generation solutions.\nBanking communications, statements, notices, or customer correspondence platforms.\nElectronic document delivery and customer communication technologies. \nAdded Bonus If You Have\nExperience supporting banking, payments, or financial services applications.\nKnowledge of customer communication management (CCM) platforms.\nExperience with large-scale production implementations and client conversions.\nBackground in document delivery, statement processing, or regulated customer communications.\nExperience leading client-facing technology initiatives.\nWhat We Offer You\nAt FIS, we're committed to growing our employees' careers while advancing the future of fintech.
