The team works closely with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams to resolve production issues, support releases, and drive continuous service improvements.\nThe new hire should possess both L2 and L3 support expertise, enabling them to manage day-to-day production issues, drive complex troubleshooting efforts, perform code-level analysis, and collaborate with development teams to deliver sustainable solutions.\nWhat you will be doing\nProvide Level 2 support for Java-based production applications.\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents within agreed SLAs.\n\nPerform detailed issue analysis using logs, monitoring tools, and database queries.\n\nCoordinate with L3 Development, Infrastructure, Middleware, and Database teams for complex issue resolution.\n\nMonitor application health, batch jobs, interfaces, and scheduled processes.\n\nConduct root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare incident reports.\nAnalyze application logs and identify patterns to prevent recurring issues.\n\nSupport production deployments and validate application functionality post-release.\n\nParticipate in problem management, change management, and release activities.\n\nCreate and maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.\n\nWork with business users and stakeholders to provide timely updates on production issues.\n\nParticipate in on-call support and critical incident management activities.\n\nWhat you bring:\nOne should have the coding knowledge in Java and able to read and make changes in the code in Java\n7+ years of experience in Application Production Support.\nStrong experience supporting Java/J2EE enterprise applications.\nExperience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based application support.\nGood understanding of Microservices and REST APIs.\nProficiency in SQL and database troubleshooting.\nExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar.\nExperience managing critical production incidents and major outage situations.\nExperience working with monitoring and observability tools.\nGood understanding of ITIL processes.\nExperience supporting high-volume, customer-facing applications.\n\nWhat we offer you:\nAn exciting opportunity be a part of World’s Leading FinTech Product MNC\n\nTo be a part of vibrant team and to build up a career on core banking/payments domain\n\nA multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities\n\nA broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities - FIS is your final career step!\n\nPrivacy Statement\nFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
