As a Network Engineer I, you will support SD-WAN and enterprise network environments by troubleshooting connectivity issues, coordinating with carriers and service providers, monitoring network performance, and resolving customer incidents. This role is ideal for a motivated networking professional looking to develop expertise in SD-WAN technologies, enterprise networking, and managed services while working alongside a highly skilled global team.\nAbout the team:\nThe BOTS Network WAN Delivery Team provides managed IT services for FIS clients. The high caliber members are among the technology leaders within FIS, utilizing multiple technologies and vendors. This team requires motivated members who are ready to develop personally and professionally as FIS grows to meet the challenges presented by today’s global economies.\nWhat you will be doing:\nTroubleshoots circuit-related and layer 1-2 network issues related to SD-WAN deployments by collaborating with carriers, ISPs, and vendors/partners.\nPerforms basic configuration in the SD-WAN and legacy network environments.\nFollows documented network services processes and procedures.\nMonitors, responds, and provides resolution for all network problem and incident tickets.\nUtilizing ServiceNow, documents status updates and problem resolutions.\nPerforms customer service duties and responds to customer requests as defined by management.\nResponds to customer requests as defined by management completing assignments in a timely manner with an acceptable level of quality.\nTroubleshoots network problems and recommends corrective procedures; assists with troubleshooting circuit equipment and all other network issues.\nPrepares activity reports as requested by management.\nMaintains network services documentation related to work area.\nCompletes network change requests in accordance with service level agreements\n\nWhat you will need:\nExperience supporting and operating SD-WAN environments, preferably VeloCloud SD-WAN by Arista.\nKnowledge of WAN technologies, including BGP, dynamic routing, static routing, and circuit troubleshooting.\nStrong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLANs and switching concepts.\nExperience working with Cisco Meraki and enterprise network infrastructure.\nFamiliarity with network monitoring and ticketing platforms such as Zabbix, ServiceNow, or similar tools.\nAbility to troubleshoot Layer 1/2 connectivity issues and coordinate with customers, carriers, and ISPs to resolve incidents.\nStrong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a managed network services environment.\nAdded bonus if you have:\nExperience with First Hop Redundancy Protocols (FHRP) such as HSRP, VRRP, or GLBP.\nKnowledge of Network Address Translation (NAT) technologies and troubleshooting.\nExperience with AAA/TACACS authentication and access control solutions.\nFamiliarity with Aruba ClearPass or similar network access control (NAC) platforms.\nPrevious experience supporting managed SD-WAN services for enterprise customers.\nExposure to Cisco routing and switching environments and legacy WAN technologies.\nWhat we offer you:\nAt FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career.
