You will define how coding agents, harnesses, reusable libraries and automated workflows transform the software development lifecycle. As a recognized software engineering expert, you will guide cross-functional teams through undefined technical challenges and establish standards for quality, security and scalability. Success means delivering precedent-setting solutions, influencing engineering strategy and enabling responsible adoption of AI-assisted development.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nDefine the enterprise architecture and technical strategy for agentic software engineering capabilities.\nEstablish reference architectures for coding agents, harnesses, reusable libraries and automated development workflows.\nSet engineering standards for Model Context Protocol servers, tools, interfaces and lifecycle management.\nGuide mission-critical design decisions involving security, scalability, reliability and platform interoperability.\nEstablish rigorous controls for evaluating, testing, monitoring and governing AI-generated software.\nOptimize complex software architectures to support changing requirements and enterprise-scale adoption.\nAdvise engineering, product, implementation and client-facing teams on high-impact technical decisions.\nLead investigation and resolution of the organization’s most complex software and integration challenges.\nCoach senior engineers and technical leads on architecture, agentic programming and engineering excellence.\nInfluence long-term roadmaps, development practices and technology investments across the organization.\nWhat you will need\nMaster-level expertise in software architecture, platform engineering and enterprise application development.\nAdvanced proficiency with Python, TypeScript or comparable languages used for complex software platforms.\nDemonstrated success shaping technical strategy for large-scale, long-term software initiatives.\nDeep experience with distributed systems, cloud architecture, APIs, security and production reliability.\nProven ability to establish engineering standards and influence decisions across organizational boundaries.\nExpertise in code quality, automated testing, performance optimization and software lifecycle governance.\nDegree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nAdded bonus if you have\nRecognized expertise in agentic programming, coding agents or large language model application architecture.\nExperience defining enterprise patterns for Model Context Protocol development and adoption.\nDeep knowledge of Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode or comparable AI engineering ecosystems.\nExperience establishing AI evaluation, observability, safety and governance frameworks.\nClient-facing engineering experience involving technical strategy, implementation and executive-level communication.\nAdvanced degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline.\nWhat We Offer you\nAt FIS, you can grow your career as far as you want to take it.
