About the role:

As a Production Support Analyst, you’ll be working with global clients to

• Support FIS Credit Risk Manager, FIS Risk Analytics Manager, and FIS Enterprise Risk Hub applications
• Install application release updates for these applications
• Lead SRE projects for the applications

• Support the production systems of major financial institutions
• Manage changes to those systems
• Ensure compliance with policy and standards

What you will be doing:

As a Production Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting live software systems for multiple clients. This role provides an opportunity to build and maintain daily connections with key internal stakeholders, including the Client Experience and Professional Services teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Ownership of processes and data structures
• Issue investigation and resolution
• Basic Microsoft Windows administration
• Basic SQL Server administration
• General troubleshooting

What you will need:

A candidate for Production Support Specialist will require:

• Technical Proficiency including knowledge of operating systems (such as Windows), databases, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• The ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions is crucial for success in this role. Candidates should demonstrate a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Candidates must be able to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Prior experience (3-4 years) in customer service or technical support roles
• Candidates must be adaptable and willing to learn new technologies and tools as needed. The ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and environments is essential for success in this role.
