If you want to advance the world of fintech, we’d like to ask you: Are you FIS?\nAbout the role:\nAs a Senior Production Support Analyst working the US shift, you’ll be working with global clients to:\nSupport FIS Credit Risk Manager, FIS Risk Analytics Manager, and FIS Enterprise Risk Hub applications\nInstall application release updates for these applications\nLead SRE projects for the applications\nSupport the platform’s migration from an FIS-hosted environment to AWS\nProvide production support during North American business hours\nAbout the team: \n Be a part of a team of analysts who\nSupport the production systems of major financial institutions\nManage changes to those systems\nEnsure compliance with policy and standards\nWhat you will be doing:\nAs a Senior Production Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting live software systems for multiple clients. This role provides an opportunity to build and maintain daily connections with key internal stakeholders, including the Client Experience and Professional Services teams.\nResponsibilities include:\nOwnership of processes and data structures\nIssue investigation and resolution\nBasic Microsoft Windows administration\nBasic SQL Server administration\nGeneral troubleshooting\nSupporting and troubleshooting applications hosted in AWS\nApplying AWS expertise to support the migration from an FIS-hosted environment to AWS\nSupporting the hosting, monitoring, and ongoing stability of AWS-based applications\nLeading incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex production issues\nWorking the US shift to provide consistent support to North American clients and business operations\nWhat you will need:\nTechnical proficiency, including knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, databases, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting methodologies\nStrong, hands-on AWS experience, ideally at an advanced or near-expert level\nExperience supporting, hosting, monitoring, and troubleshooting AWS applications in a production environment\nThe ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions\nA logical and methodical approach to problem-solving\nEffective communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders\nThe ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing\nSignificant prior experience in production support, customer service, or technical support roles\nThe ability to lead complex incident resolution and coordinate with multiple stakeholders\nAdaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools as needed\nThe ability to work the US shift on a regular basis\nAdded bonus if you have:\nPrior experience supporting the FIS Credit Risk Manager application\nWhat we offer you:\n At FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career.
