The team works across functions, geographies and partners to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with client and organisational objectives.\nWhat you will be doing:\nAs Project Manager Lead, you will provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for large-scale, complex financial technology projects and initiatives from initiation through delivery and closeout. You will lead delivery across multiple business segments and shared-service functions, under commercial and contractual commitments and constraints, and maintain alignment across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and resources. You will also strengthen delivery capability through governance, sound decision-making, continuous improvement and mentoring of project managers.\nThe key responsibilities of the role will be:\nLead large-scale global implementation and migration projects through the full delivery lifecycle, coordinating clients, internal functions, shared services and third-party partners to achieve agreed outcomes.\nDevelop, communicate and maintain integrated project plans covering requirements, scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, dependencies, resources, deliverables and operational readiness.\nMonitor project performance against baselines, anticipate and resolve complex issues, manage scope change and escalate matters requiring senior or executive attention.\nOwn project financial and commercial control, including estimation, budgets, actuals performance, forecasting, contractual impacts, change management and opportunities to improve revenue or delivery efficiency.\nBuild trusted relationships with senior sponsors and diverse stakeholders, using negotiation, conflict resolution and transparent reporting to maintain alignment and confidence in delivery.\nExercise sound judgement and appropriate autonomy in complex assignments, while mentoring project managers and strengthening governance, quality assurance and project delivery practices.\nWhat you bring:\nBachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 6+ years of relevant project management experience, including proven end-to-end leadership of large-scale and complex IT or financial technology projects.\nStrong software implementation experience and sound knowledge of application development methods and the software development lifecycle.\nDemonstrated ability to lead multinational, virtual and cross-functional teams across multiple business areas, shared services and external partners.\nAdvanced planning, resource management, estimation, budgeting, negotiation, stakeholder management, risk management, conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities.\nExperience managing projects under commercial and contractual constraints, with responsibility for budgets, billing, forecasting, reporting and corrective action.\nA relevant university degree or equivalent training and work experience, excellent written and spoken English, and flexibility to travel or support clients across time zones when required.\nAdded bonus if you have:\nPMI PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent recognised project management certification.\nDirect experience delivering card management, payment processing or banking technology implementations.\nExperience delivering complex customisations, new modules, framework enhancements or solutions in new countries or locations.\nExperience with Microsoft Project and broader Microsoft Office tools used for planning, reporting and governance.\nExperience mentoring project managers and improving project financial management and delivery practices across a team.\nWhat we offer you:\nA work environment built on collaboration, flexibility and respect\nVaried and challenging work to help you grow your skillset\nCompetitive salary and attractive range of benefits designed to help support your lifestyle and wellbeing, including:Private medical insurance for you and your family, non-contributory, in and out patient cover\nA well-established, strong provident fund\nLife insurance (3x base salary)\n21 days’ holiday increasing with length of service, plus public / bank holidays\nFlexible working (hybrid model - part from home, part from office)\nWellbeing initiatives with access to support services\nModern offices opposite the Mall of Cyprus with gym and showers, games room (pool table, table tennis, darts, table football, PlayStation) and prayer/meditation room\nStore discounts\nRegular social events and charitable initiatives to give back to our community.\n\nFIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is EUR 50,000.00 - EUR 70,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level and location.
