The team works across functions, geographies and partners to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with client and organisational objectives.\nWhat you will be doing:\nAs Project Manager Senior, you will provide direction and hands-on leadership for mid to large-scale, complex financial technology projects and initiatives from initiation through delivery and closeout. You will lead delivery across multiple business segments and shared-service functions, under commercial and contractual commitments and constraints, and maintain alignment across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and resources. You will also strengthen delivery capability through governance, sound decision-making, continuous improvement and mentoring of project managers.\nThe key responsibilities of the role will be:\nLead and deliver complex global projects and programs of varying scale across the full project lifecycle, collaborating with clients, internal teams, and external partners to achieve strategic business objectives.\nDrive the effective gathering, analysis, and validation of business requirements, translating them into fit-for-purpose solutions and implementation strategies aligned with stakeholder expectations.\nEstablish and maintain project and program baselines, ensuring robust governance, monitoring, and control to deliver outcomes within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality parameters.\nDevelop and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive sponsors, fostering alignment, engagement, and high levels of client satisfaction throughout delivery.\nApply industry-leading project and program management practices, frameworks, and methodologies to strengthen governance, mitigate risks, and optimize delivery performance.\nCoordinate and lead cross-functional teams, managing resource planning, prioritization, communications, reporting, risk and issue management, stakeholder engagement, and change control to successfully achieve program goals and business outcomes.\nWhat you bring:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, MIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.\nMinimum 4+ years of project or program management experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT or financial technology projects throughout the full project lifecycle.\nStrong software implementation experience and solid understanding of application development methodologies and the software development lifecycle, ideally within banking, payments, or financial services environments.\nDemonstrated ability to lead multinational, virtual, and cross-functional teams while managing multiple concurrent client engagements and delivering results in fast-paced environments.\nAdvanced project management capabilities, including planning, estimation, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, stakeholder engagement, risk and issue management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem solving.\nExperience managing projects under commercial and contractual constraints, with responsibility for project governance, financial management, reporting, corrective actions, and delivery outcomes aligned to business objectives.\nProven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, senior sponsors, internal teams, and external partners.\nExperience creating and maintaining project management artifacts in accordance with enterprise standards, including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, dashboards, and governance documentation.\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage situations of varying complexity and risk.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and related project delivery tools.\nFlexibility to travel and collaborate with global clients and teams across different time zones as required.\nAdded bonus if you have:\nPMI PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent recognised project management certification.\nDirect experience delivering card management, payment processing or banking technology implementations.\nExperience delivering complex customisations, new modules, framework enhancements or solutions in new countries or locations.\nExperience with Microsoft Project and broader Microsoft Office tools used for planning, reporting and governance.\nPayments industry experience is considered a strong advantage.\nundefined\nWhat we offer you:\nA work environment built on collaboration, flexibility and respect\nVaried and challenging work to help you grow your skillset\nCompetitive salary and attractive range of benefits designed to help support your lifestyle and wellbeing, including:Private medical insurance for you and your family, non-contributory, in and out patient cover\nA well-established, strong provident fund\nLife insurance (3x base salary)\n21 days’ holiday increasing with length of service, plus public / bank holidays\nFlexible working (hybrid model - part from home, part from office)\nWellbeing initiatives with access to support services\nModern offices opposite the Mall of Cyprus with gym and showers, games room (pool table, table tennis, darts, table football, PlayStation) and prayer/meditation room\nStore discounts\nRegular social events and charitable initiatives to give back to our community.\n\nFIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation.
