Our technology team plays a critical role in delivering scalable, high-quality solutions that support the evolving needs of our clients and business.\nWhat you will be doing\nDesign, develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test solutions for enterprise applications. \nDevelop automation frameworks and test utilities using Python, pywinauto, and Shell scripting. \nValidate backend systems, APIs, data processing, and batch workloads. \nPerform data validation and reconciliation using complex SQL queries across large-scale databases. \nWork closely with software engineers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality is built into the software development lifecycle. \nAnalyze requirements and create effective test scenarios, test cases, and automation coverage. \nTroubleshoot production and client-reported issues through application and data analysis. \nExecute system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities. \nValidate system performance, reliability, scalability, and security requirements. \nCommunicate testing progress, risks, defects, and results effectively to stakeholders. \nSupport test planning, risk assessment, and mitigation activities. \nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment. \nRequired skills and experience\n4-7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on backend and automation testing. \nStrong hands-on experience in Python automation development, including desktop application automation using pywinauto. \nStrong financial services domain knowledge is required; capital markets or private equity experience is preferred. \nStrong experience with Unix/Linux environments, including Shell scripting. \nStrong database testing experience, including: \nSQL query development and optimization. \nData validation and reconciliation. \nDatabase debugging and analysis. \nStored procedures, functions, and database objects. \nWorking with large data volumes and complex schemas. \nExperience testing APIs, batch processes, and backend services. \nStrong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and quality processes. \nExperience working with Agile Scrum methodologies and SAFe/Value Stream concepts. \nExperience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr Scale, and Confluence/Wiki. \nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. \nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams. \nDesired skills\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. \nExposure to cloud-native technologies and modern application architectures. \nKnowledge of API testing tools and automation frameworks. \nFamiliarity with version control systems such as Git/GitHub. \nExperience leveraging GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot. \nEducation requirements\nBachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.\nWhat we offer you\nA multifaceted role with high responsibility and broad learning opportunities. \nContinuous professional development and career growth. \nCompetitive salary and benefits package. \nExposure to cutting-edge technologies and enterprise-scale platforms. \nAn inclusive and collaborative work environment supporting innovation and excellence. \nPrivacy Statement\nFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
