engineering experience to help design, build and operate secure, resilient and scalable cloud platforms.\nYou will work closely with software engineering, architecture, security and operations teams to improve service reliability, automate infrastructure and operational processes, strengthen observability and resilience, and support enterprise applications across development, test and production environments.\nYour key responsibilities\nDesign, provision and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.\nBuild and operate AWS environments using services such as Amazon EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, ALB/NLB, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, SNS/SQS, AWS Backup and Secrets Manager.\nDeploy and operate containerised workloads on Amazon EKS using Kubernetes and Helm.\nBuild, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.\nAutomate infrastructure, operating-system configuration and repetitive operational tasks using Terraform, Ansible, Bash and other scripting or programming languages.\nEstablish and continuously improve observability across infrastructure and applications, including metrics, logs, dashboards, tracing and alerting.\nDefine and improve SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, operational runbooks and incident-response procedures for critical services.\nTroubleshoot complex production issues across AWS, Kubernetes, networking, operating systems, CI/CD and application infrastructure.\nParticipate in production incident management, perform root-cause analysis and lead post-incident reviews to identify and track permanent corrective actions.\nAnalyse operational data, recurring incidents and service requests to identify reliability improvements, eliminate toil and automate manual processes.\nConduct capacity and performance reviews, identify constraints and implement improvements to availability, scalability and performance.\nDesign, implement and validate high availability, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for AWS workloads.\nImplement secure identity and access controls using AWS IAM roles and policies, following least-privilege principles.\nBuild and upgrade cloud environments for new clients, including application integration and migration-related infrastructure.\nWork with development and platform teams to improve deployment reliability, resilience, performance and operational readiness.\nContribute to technical documentation, operational runbooks, architecture standards and implementation guidelines.\nParticipate in technical design reviews and evaluate solutions for security, scalability, availability, maintainability and operational supportability.\nWhat you bring\nRequired qualifications\n9 to 14 years of overall experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, production engineering or Site Reliability Engineering, with strong recent hands-on AWS experience.\nStrong hands-on experience designing, deploying and supporting production workloads on AWS.\nStrong practical experience with Terraform and reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns.\nStrong knowledge of Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Docker and Helm.\nExperience building and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong understanding of AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, DNS and private connectivity.\nGood understanding of AWS security, including IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager and least-privilege access controls.\nHands-on automation and configuration-management experience using Ansible, PowerShell, Bash or similar technologies.\nExperience administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows Server environments.\nStrong experience with monitoring, logging, metrics, dashboards, alerting and application/infrastructure observability.\nExperience supporting live production services using SRE practices, including incident management, root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.\nPractical understanding of SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, availability, latency, capacity and performance management.\nAbility to analyse operational data and incident trends to prioritise reliability improvements and reduce operational toil.\nStrong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, application connectivity and CI/CD.\nGood understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, backup and resilient cloud architectures.\nExperience working with Git-based development and infrastructure workflows.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, architecture, security and operations teams.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience with Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms.\nExperience with enterprise observability platforms.\nExperience with incident-management and IT service-management processes, including incident, change, problem and request management.\nExperience with reliability testing, disaster-recovery exercises, resilience automation and performance engineering.\nExperience supporting middleware and data platforms such as Amazon MSK/Kafka, Amazon MQ/RabbitMQ, Redis and PostgreSQL.\nRelevant AWS certification(s).\nEducational qualifications\nGraduate or postgraduate degree in computer engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech)
