You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operational teams to streamline software delivery, improve platform reliability, and ensure production stability. This role combines infrastructure engineering, automation, site reliability, and operational support to drive secure, scalable, and resilient technology environments. Success is measured through system reliability, deployment efficiency, operational excellence, and outstanding stakeholder support.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure supporting business-critical applications and services.\nDevelop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and improve deployment reliability.\nMonitor production environments and proactively address performance, availability, and capacity issues.\nPartner with engineering and product teams to improve platform architecture, operational readiness, and release processes.\nTroubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, and cloud-related incidents across production environments.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code practices.\nDefine, measure, and support service level objectives and operational performance metrics.\nImplement security controls, access management, encryption, and compliance-focused infrastructure practices.\nSupport disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience initiatives across cloud environments.\nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and continuously improve service delivery.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nProven experience in DevOps or Software Engineering.\nStrong experience with public cloud platforms, particularly AWS.\nHands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies. Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g. Clojure, TypeScript, Python).\nExperience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation frameworks.\nProficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar.\nStrong understanding of infrastructure automation, configuration management, and Infrastructure as Code tools.\nExperience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing distributed systems in production environments.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code platforms.\nKnowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar solutions.\nExperience designing and supporting highly available, client-facing cloud architectures.\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and enterprise infrastructure standards.\nExperience supporting business continuity planning and disaster recovery programs.\nRelevant cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, or security certifications.\nWhat We Offer you\nAt FIS, you can grow your career as far as you want to take it.
