If you want to advance the world of fintech, we’d like to ask you: Are you FIS?\nAbout the role:\nAs a Senior Mainframe Production Support Analyst, you will support the daily execution of test cycles and migrations for four customers hosted in Little Rock, Arkansas.\nYou will work closely with three other Operations Analysts, sharing responsibilities across the four client environments. The role involves executing scheduled and on-demand test cycles, monitoring mainframe jobs, troubleshooting operational issues, and escalating incidents when required.\nTest cycles are managed using ZEKET scheduling software, while migration activities typically involve updating ZEKET and SAR reporting software, running mainframe jobs, and verifying that jobs complete successfully.\nThis position requires availability to work according to the US Central Time Zone.\nWhat you will be doing:\nRun and monitor mainframe test cycles, including cycles scheduled for specific days/times as well as on-demand requests.\nSubmit JCL (Job Control Language) jobs to load and execute the appropriate test cycles.\nMonitor jobs and cycles for abends and other processing issues.\nIdentify operational failures and escalate them to the appropriate on-call support contact according to the on-call schedule.\nFollow troubleshooting instructions provided by the support team and restart cycles or jobs when required.\nSupport migration activities across the customer environments.\nUpdate the ZEKET scheduler as part of test-cycle and migration activities.\nUpdate and work with SAR reporting software.\nRun migration jobs and verify job completion codes to ensure successful processing.\nCollaborate with the other Operations Analysts to support responsibilities across four customer environments.\nParticipate in knowledge sharing and training to ensure appropriate coverage of operational responsibilities.\nWhat you will need:\nHands-on experience navigating and working within a mainframe environment.\nExperience supporting mainframe batch processing, test cycles, or migrations.\nFamiliarity with JCL and submitting/monitoring mainframe jobs.\nAbility to recognize and respond to job abends and processing failures.\nExperience with ZEKET is highly relevant for this position.\nFamiliarity with SAR reporting software is beneficial.\nAbility to follow operational procedures and escalate issues appropriately.\nStrong attention to detail when monitoring job execution and completion codes.\nExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to work according to the US Central Time Zone.\nWhat we offer you:\nAt FIS, we are as committed to growing our employees’ careers as our own business.
