About the Role
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will design, build, and support scalable Salesforce solutions that enable critical business operations within a highly regulated financial services environment. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex requirements into secure, high-performing platform capabilities. Success in this role requires strong expertise in Salesforce development, integrations, platform governance, and application support. You will play a key role in driving platform reliability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across Salesforce ecosystems.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
- Deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements.
- Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external platforms using REST, SOAP, and middleware technologies.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead technical design reviews and recommend best practices for platform scalability and performance.
- Perform code reviews and enforce development standards across Salesforce delivery teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable resolutions.
- Support release planning, deployment activities, and environment management within Agile delivery frameworks.
- Optimize platform performance, data quality, and user experience through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to security controls, data protection standards, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and platform configuration.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce application architecture, customization, and platform best practices.
- Experience building and supporting integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of Salesforce security models, role hierarchies, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and data governance.
- Experience with Salesforce data migration, data quality management, and deployment processes.
- Proficiency with Agile development methodologies, source control, and continuous delivery practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a skills-based equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer certifications or other Salesforce credentials.
- Experience within banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or related industry solutions.
- Experience with DevOps tools, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration platforms and cloud-based application ecosystems.
- Understanding of application performance optimization, monitoring, and operational support practices.
