You will be part of an agile, product-aligned and globally distributed SRE team, working hand in hand with our Cloud Development organization to ensure our services are reliable, observable, secure, and operated at scale.\nThis role sits at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and operations.\nIf you enjoy solving complex technical problems, automating everything that can be automated, and taking responsibility for how systems behave in production, this role is for you.\nWhat you’ll work on\nEnsuring and continuously improving the reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of our cloud services\nWorking closely with Cloud Development teams to design for operability, reliability, and resilience\nManaging infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)\nRunning and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes (Harness)\nDesigning and maintaining monitoring, alerting, and observability (CloudWatch and related tools)\nReducing operational toil through automation (deployments, upgrades, onboarding, incident response)\nParticipating in incident handling and post-incident reviews, turning learnings into concrete improvements\nContributing to standards, runbooks, and reusable patterns used across the global SRE team\nWhat we’re looking for\nHands-on experience with AWS in real production environments\nPractical experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker\nExperience with Terraform, Harness and Ansible (or similar tooling)\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging concepts (CloudWatch, metrics, alerts)\nGood understanding of distributed systems and database technology (ideally Microsoft SQL Server) from an operational standpoint\nSolid troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, platform, and application layers\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and geographies\nA client-centric, can-do, ownership mindset with a desire to own problems end to end\nNice to have\nPrevious experience in an SRE, DevOps, or production engineering role\nKnowledge of security and identity topics (IAM, networking, certificates, SSO)\nExposure to financial systems or other high-reliability environments\nWhat we offer\nWork on a long-lived, complex product with real engineering challenges\nA stable, skilled and fun team and long-term ownership, not short-term projects\nCollaboration with highly skilled global teams (Belgrade, Zurich, North America, and beyond)\nTime for learning, certifications, and skill development\nA culture that values engineering quality over firefighting\nSocial events and team gatherings\nCompetitive local compensation and benefits\nPrivacy Statement\nFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
