This role will require a professional who excels in both independent work and collaborative efforts across our global team and companion teams. You will be supporting a newly onboarded client and will be responsible for several high availability leveraged applications used by both internal applications and external facing APIs. This technology is used by major banking clients in Australia. In this role you will be:\nFocusing on scalability, high availability, performance, stability and reliability of software applications\n\nYou will build automations to simplify operations and processes, collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure positive end user experiences\n\nYou will apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline and mature automation to our operating environment and codebase\n\nWhat You Bring:\nTo excel in this role you will have:\nAt least 2 to 5 years’ experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role\n\nExperience working on cloud-based infrastructure e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP.\n\nStrong Knowledge in Tools like Azure Metrics, log Analytics, Cloud Watch, Cloud Guard and ability to create Dashboards and Alerts.\n\nGood experience in Linux commands.\n\nGood experience in Kubernetes Management, Deployment strategies and best practices.\n\nAbility to Automate repetitive tasks (using Scripting / automation tools)\n\nExperience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).\n\nKnowledge in DevOPS (CI/CD) and relevant tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOPS)\n\nStrong knowledge in shell script development\n\nExperience in Cluster upgrade, Patching, DR exercise (Cluster, Storage Account, and other services)\n\nAbility to create KQL queries for different use cases to extract data from log analytics.\n\nStrong knowledge in Helm and helm development\n\nKnowledge in tools like Jira, Bitbucket and confluence\n\nBonus if you Have:\nBanking sector experience\n\nWhat we offer you:\nAt FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career.
