You will partner with developers, business analysts, and product teams to validate software functionality, identify defects, and improve overall product quality. Success in this role is measured by your ability to execute effective testing strategies, deliver high-quality releases, and contribute to continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nDevelop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases, scripts, and test data.\nPerform functional, integration, regression, system, and usability testing across multiple applications.\nAnalyze business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.\nIdentify, document, track, and validate software defects through resolution.\nCollaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to resolve quality issues.\nSupport test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting activities throughout the project lifecycle.\nValidate data integrity through database queries and data analysis techniques.\nParticipate in release testing to ensure product stability, reliability, and performance.\nEvaluate risks and recommend mitigation strategies to support successful software delivery.\nContribute to process improvements that enhance testing effectiveness, efficiency, and product quality.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience in software testing, quality assurance, or application validation.\nKnowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall environments.\nExperience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to identify, document, and communicate defects clearly and effectively.\nExperience working with databases and writing queries for data validation and troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of quality management practices, testing tools, and defect tracking systems.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with test automation frameworks and automated testing tools.\nKnowledge of API, integration, and performance testing methodologies.\nExperience within fintech, banking, financial services, or payments environments.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\nExperience using test management and defect tracking platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.\nWhat We Offer You\nAt FIS, you can grow your career as far as you want to take it. The pay range for this full-time position is $72,030.00 - $122,450.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
