The team focuses on improving test coverage, accelerating release cycles and reducing manual testing effort through effective automation practices.\nWhat you will be doing:\nThe Testing Analyst Senior will use FIS testing tools and automation frameworks to design, execute, analyze and maintain automated test cases across assigned client projects. The role will apply knowledge of testing procedures, methodologies, application standards, payment card industry requirements and security-related compliance to support high-quality testing activities and reliable delivery outcomes.\nKey responsibilities include:\nProvide daily standardized progress reports to the relevant Test Manager, highlighting automation execution status, risks, issues and any required follow-up actions.\nContribute to the expansion of automated test suite coverage by automating test cases using in-house tools and providing clear, timely status updates to management.\nPrepare, execute and maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases covering both technical and business requirements, and produce test result reports for each test cycle.\nAnalyze test outcomes, investigate defects whether application issue or script issue, and collaborate with respective development teams to identify root causes and resolutions.\nProduce accurate and timely test execution reports, highlighting progress, quality metrics, risks, and issues. \nProvide daily status updates to Test Managers and project stakeholders on testing activities and automation results.\nWhat you bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\nAt least 4+ years relevant experience in IT, preferably in Bank Card Industry.\nDemonstrated experience in software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.\nStrong organizational skills, reliability and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nA collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, able to work effectively within an integrated software development team.\nGood time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and progress several workstreams simultaneously.\nExceptional attention to detail, commitment to quality, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally distributed environment.\nProven ability to build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams.\nWorking knowledge of database concepts and SQL queries.\nExperience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent automation tools.\nProgramming or scripting experience in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.\nWorking knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.\nExperience with test management and defect tracking tools, including JIRA, Zephyr, ALM/Quality Center, or equivalent tools.\nExcellent spoken and written English communication skills.\n\nAdded bonus if you have:\nBasic working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.\nExperience in defect and incident management processes.\nISEB, ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.\nPrevious experience in a software testing environment, with detailed working knowledge of testing tools and techniques.\nExperience developing and implementing test processes, including integration, functional and regression testing.\nProven ability to support testing activities across multiple clients or projects.\nWhat we offer you:\nA work environment built on collaboration, flexibility and respect\nVaried and challenging work to help you grow your skillset\nCompetitive salary and attractive range of benefits designed to help support your lifestyle and wellbeing, including:Private medical insurance for you and your family, non-contributory, in and out patient cover\nA well-established, strong provident fund\nLife insurance (3x base salary)\n21 days’ holiday increasing with length of service, plus public / bank holidays\nFlexible working (hybrid model - part from home, part from office)\nWellbeing initiatives with access to support services\nModern offices opposite the Mall of Cyprus with gym and showers, games room (pool table, table tennis, darts, table football, PlayStation) and prayer/meditation room\nStore discounts\nRegular social events and charitable initiatives to give back to our community.\n\nFIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation.
