This role serves as a key coordination point for monthly and emergency patching cycles, implementation tracking, stakeholder communication, reporting, and audit support, while ensuring alignment with ITIL processes and organizational compliance standards.\nThe position requires close collaboration with Windows Server administrators, application owners, infrastructure teams, security teams, Lines of Business, and change management teams to ensure patching activities are planned, implemented, validated, and documented effectively.\nKey Responsibilities\nChange Coordination & Implementation\nCoordinate monthly and emergency Windows Server patch implementation activities across the enterprise environment.\nPlan patching schedules and maintain implementation calendars to support operational readiness.\nCreate, track, and manage change requests in accordance with approved change management procedures.\nCoordinate outage windows, bridge calls, approvals, and implementation tasks with relevant teams.\nProvide timely status updates throughout patch implementation windows.\nTrack patch implementation outcomes, including successful completions, failures, cancellations, and remediation actions.\nEnsure implementation documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with governance requirements.\nPatching Operations Support\nSupport enterprise Windows Server patching activities and assist with implementation coordination.\nCoordinate with infrastructure and application teams to confirm patch readiness and validation requirements.\nMonitor implementation progress and escalate risks, blockers, or delays as required.\nSupport post-patch validation activities, including operational health checks and follow-up actions.\nMaintain accurate patching schedules, implementation trackers, and server inventory details.\nVulnerability & Compliance Management\nSupport vulnerability remediation by coordinating patch deployment using approved patch baselines.\nTrack vulnerability remediation progress, compliance status, and related operational metrics.\nAssist in maintaining enterprise patch compliance targets and remediation timelines.\nPrepare compliance reports and leadership dashboards to support operational reviews.\nMonitor exception management activities and track remediation actions to closure.\nReporting & Analytics\nDevelop and maintain operational reports using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.\nCreate dashboards, charts, and presentations for leadership and operational review meetings.\nAnalyze patching trends, compliance performance, and implementation effectiveness.\nPrepare weekly, monthly, and executive-level status reports with clear insights and action items.\nSupport audit reporting, governance reviews, and evidence collection activities.\nStakeholder Communication\nManage communications with application owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams.\nProvide implementation notifications, progress updates, completion summaries, and follow-up communications.\nFacilitate effective communication during patch windows, bridge calls, and incident situations.\nSupport leadership reviews, operational meetings, and stakeholder discussions with accurate updates.\nService Management & Governance\nEnsure adherence to ITIL-based service management and operational governance processes.\nSupport incident, problem, and change management processes, including documentation and follow-up.\nMaintain accurate implementation records, operational documentation, and audit evidence.\nAssist with operational risk assessments, exception reviews, and governance-related follow-up actions.\nServer Onboarding & Service Enablement\nCoordinate the onboarding of new servers into the CVPI patching service.\nValidate patch readiness, tooling availability, ownership details, and inventory alignment.\nCoordinate onboarding requests with application owners and infrastructure teams to ensure service readiness.\nSupport lifecycle management activities related to patching services and operational support.\nAutomation & Continuous Improvement\nSupport patch automation initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.\nAssist with automated reporting, data collection, and operational tracking activities.\nIdentify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve reporting accuracy.\nSupport BigFix, and related patch management platforms where applicable.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience\n2-5 years of experience in IT services, infrastructure support, or enterprise operations environments.\nMinimum 2 years of experience working with ITIL processes, service management practices, vulnerability management, and patch management activities.\nMandatory Skills\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:\nVLOOKUP/XLOOKUP\nPivot Tables\nCharts and Dashboards\nData Analysis and Reporting\n\nStrong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent documentation, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear operational updates.\nBasic understanding of Windows Server operating systems, distributions, and version management.\nWorking knowledge of ITIL processes and service management governance.\nExperience using change management, service delivery, and operational tracking tools.\nAbility to coordinate multiple stakeholders, implementation activities, timelines, and priorities effectively.\nPreferred Skills\nHands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms.\nExperience in change management, project coordination, or service management functions.\nExposure to Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure support.\nKnowledge of vulnerability management, compliance tracking, and remediation processes.\nExperience supporting enterprise patch management processes and implementation governance.\nUnderstanding of automation tools, operational reporting platforms, and process
