This role combines complex project leadership with the opportunity to strengthen data practices and support teams in using analytics effectively.\n This position is 100% onsite, day 1 in our Erlanger, KY office.\nYou Will Thrive in This Role If You…\nEnjoy leading teams and complex application initiatives from planning through delivery.\nLike translating business questions into clear reporting, useful dashboards, and practical recommendations.\nBring a structured, fact-based approach to improving data quality, system reliability, and analytics processes.\nCommunicate technical information clearly with senior leaders, business partners, developers, analysts, and users.\nBuild productive working relationships with internal teams, consultants, and software solution providers.\nAdapt to changing priorities while staying organized, exercising sound judgment, and following through on commitments.\nThese skills will be used to:\nLead the business Data team and oversee the design, development, implementation, and support of organizational reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.\nPlan, coordinate, evaluate, and deliver BI/BA projects; work with users to define data cubes and specifications and execute project plans.\nPartner with business teams to develop KPIs and critical reports, build effective dashboards, and communicate analysis and recommendations to senior management.\nEstablish data collection and analysis policies, recommend technology solutions for gathering and reporting data, and ensure consistency across company applications and third-party solutions.\nDevelop report deployment methods and maintain system reliability, availability, and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, backup and recovery processes, and carefully planned and tested system changes.\nWork with consulting partners and BI/BA solution providers; address day-to-day requests from platform developers, analysts, and users, and provide technical assistance, training, and support.\nMaintain thorough, current user and system process documentation, project documentation, business rules, and work instructions.\nInstall, patch, configure, and test enterprise business intelligence software.\nMentor team members and transfer knowledge to customers through service delivery and classroom instruction.\nPerform additional duties as requested by management.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or an Information Technology-related field.\nDemonstrated success leading IT application teams, including internal and offshore teams.\nA proven track record leading complex application development efforts with a business-oriented approach.\nExperience working with software solution providers, developing strategic partnerships, and managing in a SaaS environment.\nExperience leading teams using the Agile Development Methodology.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working in homebuilding or a relevant industry.\n10+ years of experience leading large-scale IT initiatives and teams.\nExperience aligning technology strategy with organizational objectives and anticipating future technology trends.\nExperience managing technology initiative budgets, allocating resources, negotiating vendor contracts, and keeping projects within budget.\nExperience with SSRS, SQL Server, and Power BI deployment.\nUnderstanding of AI/ML fundamentals, including machine learning models, natural language processing, computer vision, and generative AI; experience with generative AI tools and deploying AI or machine learning models in enterprise environments with attention to scalability, performance, data privacy, and ethical considerations.\nPhysical demands and work environment:\nMust be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.\nMust be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier).\nMust be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.\nMust be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.\nThe Value of a Career with The Fischer Group\n The Fischer Group is a family of companies focused on delivering exceptional experiences across homebuilding, financial services, and real estate.
