If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.\nJob Title\nBusiness AnalystAbout your role:\nReporting to the Programme Director and/or Programme Manager, the role of Business Analyst is to support client implementations, conversions and migration initiatives by gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements in line with programme objectives and delivery needs.\nWorking closely with clients, internal Fiserv teams and third-party partners, the Business Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, translated into structured functional requirements and aligned to solution capabilities, operational processes and target-state outcomes.\nThe Business Analyst is responsible for supporting analysis activities across the full project lifecycle, from initial requirements definition and current-state assessment through functional documentation, testing support, go-live readiness and transition to BAU. The role acts as a critical link between business stakeholders, subject matter experts, implementation teams, product, technology and testing teams to help ensure that solutions are delivered in line with business, operational and technical requirements.\nWithin this context, the role requires a solid understanding of issuing and card-processing environments, including client servicing, operational processes and the impacts of migrating from legacy platforms to modern target solutions.\nWhat you’ll do:\nLeading business and functional requirements discussions with clients, internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, validate and document project needs.\nAnalysing current-state and target-state processes to identify functional gaps, operational impacts, dependencies and areas requiring clarification or design decisions.\nDefining and documenting business requirements, functional requirements, process flows, business rules, user stories and other supporting analysis artefacts.\nTranslating business needs into clear, structured and actionable functional requirements for implementation, product, technology and testing teams.\nSupporting solution definition activities by working closely with SMEs, implementation teams, product teams and technical teams to assess options and recommend appropriate functional approaches.\nProducing and maintaining analysis documentation across the project lifecycle, including requirements packs, functional specifications, gap analysis, decision logs and process documentation.\nDeveloping and maintaining requirements traceability to ensure approved requirements, changes and decisions are tracked and aligned to delivery outcomes.\nSupporting the documentation of the overall functional approach, including impacts to client processes, operational models, controls and target-state solution design.\nIdentifying, analysing, researching and resolving functional queries raised by internal teams, clients and third-party partners.\nSupporting impact assessments related to process changes, regulatory and compliance requirements, operational readiness and implementation activities.\nWorking closely with issuing, card-processing and operational stakeholders to ensure that business priorities, processing requirements and client expectations are clearly understood and reflected in the solution.\nSupporting readiness activities by ensuring that requirements, process impacts, decisions and functional dependencies are clearly understood by all relevant stakeholders.\nActing as a key liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and alignment at all stages.\nExecution & Controls\nManaging and maintaining business analysis deliverables in accordance with established Fiserv governance, standards and project methodology.\nSupporting the planning, prioritisation and delivery of business analysis activities in line with project milestones, implementation phases and delivery timelines.\nEnsuring that requirements are reviewed, validated, approved and baselined in line with agreed governance processes.\nTracking requirement changes, open points, assumptions, dependencies and key decisions throughout the lifecycle of the project.\nSupporting the creation and maintenance of functional documentation required for implementation, testing, readiness and go-live activities.\nWorking with implementation, product, technology and testing teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and correctly translated into solution design and delivery outputs.\nSupporting testing activities by reviewing test scenarios, validating coverage against requirements and assisting with defect analysis, functional clarifications and issue resolution.\nSupporting user acceptance testing, operational readiness assessments and go-live preparation from a functional and business process perspective.\nParticipating in governance meetings, status reviews, workshops and working sessions to provide updates on analysis progress, requirement status, key decisions and unresolved issues.\nEscalating risks, issues, requirement gaps or delivery concerns to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely and structured manner.\nMaintaining clear and consistent communication with clients, internal teams and third parties on requirements, impacts, decisions and functional changes.\nSupporting implementation events and critical project milestones by providing functional expertise and analysis support where required.\nCloseout & Transition\nConfirming that business and functional requirements have been delivered, validated and transitioned appropriately into implementation, testing, warranty and BAU support processes.\nSupporting the completion of final documentation and ensuring that approved requirements, decisions and analysis artefacts are archived appropriately.\nAssisting with the review of implementation outcomes, requirement coverage, defects and lessons learned to identify opportunities for improvement.\nEnsuring that outstanding functional queries, requirement gaps or follow-up actions are tracked through to closure or transitioned appropriately into warranty and BAU support processes.\nContributing to post-implementation reviews and Lessons Learned activities where applicable.\nExperience you’ll need to have:\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with professional proficiency in both English and Italian.\nWorking knowledge of issuing, card-processing and payments operations, with an understanding of how business requirements translate into processing and operational outcomes.\nSubject Matter Expert / Business Analyst experience in one or more of the following areas strongly preferred: Regulatory, Compliance, Payment Schemes, Card Processing, Customer Correspondence, Fulfillment, Collections, Risk/Fraud, Disputes, Chargebacks, Retrievals, Testing, Consumer Finance, Credit Cards, Loans, Debit Cards and Retail Cards.\nSignificant proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, functional analysis or solution analysis roles, within the Financial Services industry, in the Cards and Payments sector; experience in card and/or payment processing environments is preferred (6-10 years).\nProven experience supporting and/or leading business analysis activities for medium to large client-facing implementations, conversions or migration initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.\nExperience that would be great to have:\nBusiness Analysis certification or equivalent professional training preferred.\nExperience in issuing, card-processing or broader consumer finance environments strongly preferred.\nExperience supporting migrations from legacy platforms to modern processing platforms.\nExperience working on multi-country programmes and complex client delivery initiatives.\nExposure to regulatory, operational or processing change initiatives within issuing environments preferred.\nSalary starting at
