Solution Architecture & Experience Engineering will provide technology and architecture leadership for customer-facing digital banking capabilities across mobile and web channels.\nThe role will define end-to-end solution architecture spanning iOS, Android, responsive web, APIs, microservices, integration platforms, identity, security and cloud-native services, while ensuring a consistent and high-quality digital experience.\nWorking closely with Product, UX/XD, Engineering, Architecture, Security and business stakeholders, this leader will translate customer journeys and product strategy into scalable technology solutions.\nThe role combines solution architecture, hands-on digital engineering leadership and experience design thinking, with accountability for technology modernization, engineering standards, performance, resilience and delivery effectiveness.\nWhat you will do\nDigital Banking Solution Architecture\nOwn solution architecture for digital banking capabilities across iOS, Android and Web.\nDefine reference architectures, engineering standards and reusable patterns for digital channels.\nArchitect integration between digital channels, API gateways, microservices, authentication services, payment platforms and core banking capabilities.\nLead architecture reviews and major technology decisions across the digital ecosystem.\nDrive build-vs-buy-vs-integrate decisions considering customer experience, scalability, security, cost and time-to-market.\nMobile & Web Engineering Leadership\nProvide engineering leadership across native iOS, native Android and modern web development.\nEstablish engineering standards covering code quality, automated testing, release management, performance and maintainability.\nDrive scalable frontend and mobile architecture, including modularization, component reuse and API-first integration.\nModernize legacy digital applications and reduce accumulated technical debt.\nStrengthen CI/CD, automated testing and engineering productivity across digital delivery teams.\nExperience Digitial (XD) Product\nPartner with XD Global product team, delivery and business teams to translate customer journeys into technology solutions.\nEmbed experience design thinking into architecture and engineering decisions rather than treating UX as a downstream activity.\nEstablish reusable design-system and component approaches across mobile and web.\nDrive consistency across navigation, interaction patterns and customer journeys.\nBalance customer experience with security, regulatory and technology constraints.\nDigital Banking & Platform Integration\nArchitect secure customer journeys covering capabilities such as:Customer onboarding\nAuthentication and authorization\nAccount servicing\nPayments and transfers\nCards\nNotifications\nCustomer servicing\n\nEstablish API-first and event-driven integration patterns where appropriate.\nDrive channel consistency while enabling market-specific banking requirements.\nSecurity, Resilience & Performance\nEnsure digital banking applications meet enterprise security, privacy and regulatory requirements.\nEmbed secure engineering practices across mobile, web and API development.\nEstablish architecture for high availability, resilience, monitoring and recoverability.\nDrive application performance and reliability through measurable engineering practices.\nPartner with Cybersecurity, Risk and Compliance teams throughout solution design and delivery.\nLeadership\nLead and influence solution architects, mobile engineers, web engineers and engineering leads across APAC.\nDevelop strong architecture and engineering capabilities within delivery teams.\nEstablish communities of practice across mobile, web and digital architecture.\nAct as a senior technology partner to Product, Business, Design and Engineering leadership.\nCreate a culture focused on customer experience, engineering excellence, ownership and continuous improvement.\nWhat you will need to have\n15+ years of technology experience with significant leadership in digital platforms, solution architecture or software engineering.\nStrong experience architecting enterprise digital solutions across iOS, Android and Web.\nDeep understanding of mobile and modern web architectures.\nStrong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, API management, identity/access management and distributed systems.\nExperience with modern mobile technologies such as Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, plus modern web engineering using technologies such as React, Angular or equivalent frameworks.\nExperience designing highly available, resilient and secure customer-facing platforms.\nStrong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and observability.\nExperience partnering closely with UX/XD and Product teams on complex customer journeys.\nStrong stakeholder management and ability to communicate architecture
