This role strengthens network performance, availability, and data integrity while resolving technical issues and integrating new technologies. Working closely with team members, this position helps advance best practices and scalable network solutions that support operational success.\nWhat you will do?\nMaintain and optimize network infrastructure to support company goals and service reliability.\nDevelop and implement network management procedures and policies to strengthen operational consistency.\nEvaluate and integrate new network technologies to improve network capabilities and performance.\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues while helping ensure data integrity and high availability of network systems.\nMonitor network performance and capacity to proactively identify and address issues.\nWhat you must have?\n6+ years of experience in network engineering or related fields.\n3+ years of experience in SAN/NAS administration or similar network frameworks, plus 3+ years of experience in backup and recovery systems and protocols.\n3+ years of experience in cloud network solutions or virtualization technologies, and 3+ years of experience with network infrastructure solutions such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista.\n3+ years of experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, plus 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.\nWhat would be nice to have?\n1+ years of experience in the financial services industry.\nExperience supporting 2 or more enterprise network environments or frameworks.\nExperience working with 3 or more core network technology platforms or tools.\nThis role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Maine or Washington.\nIt is unlawful to discriminate against a prospective employee due to the individual's status as a veteran.\nPlease note that salary ranges provided for this role on external job boards are salary estimates made by outside parties and may not be accurate.\nThank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
