In this role, you will apply deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills to ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance in a fast-paced, SLA-driven production environment.\nWhat you’ll do:\nModify, test, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL (DB2), and CICS in an IBM z/OS environment.\nReview application designs and source code to assist with testing, debugging, and production readiness.\nCode and test high-priority and critical changes in support of business and operational requirements.\nPerform performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications to maintain stability and efficiency.\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and defect correction.\nCollaborate with remote and cross-functional team members to deliver reliable application support.\nProvide regular project and task status updates to project managers and related stakeholders.\nCreate and maintain technical and operational documentation to support ongoing application maintenance.\nResponsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.\nExperience you’ll need to have:\n6+ years of software development experience.\nHands-on experience in an IBM Mainframe (z/OS) environment.\nProficiency with COBOL, JCL, and DB2.\nExperience deploying fixes in SLA-driven production environments.\nStrong analytical and communication skills.\nExperience in creating technical documentation.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience that would be great to have:\nDB2 utilities, IDCAMS, SyncSort, File-Master, CICS.\nFTP / NDM file transmission.\nREXX, Endevor, Clarity, Jira.\nMicrosoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint.\nHow you’ll work:\nOn-call rotational support.\nUse of Computer and audio equipment required.\nPer contractual obligations, must be a US citizen or US Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain and maintain an extended background check\nSalary Range\n$90,000.00 - $158,400.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.
