With billions of transactions processed annually and deep integration across payment rails, banking systems, and merchant ecosystems, Fiserv has built a proprietary data advantage that no competitor can replicate-enabling insights across the full lifecycle of every transaction.\nWithin Data Commerce Solutions, we are building a new class of data intelligence products-spanning issuing, banking and acquiring domains-that translate Fiserv’s scale and connectivity into tangible client outcomes.\nWe are seeking a Senior Data Analyst within our Data Architecture team - turning Fiserv’s unmatched data into scalable, privacy-safe, and commercially differentiated data products that deliver measurable value to clients.\nWhat you’ll do:\nAnalyze payment and banking transactions across multiple data sources, identify patterns and build insights for data commercialization.\nAnalyze 3 to 5 years historic transaction data on banking, digital banking, check data, external data, payments to create macro and micro level stats.\nSupport end-to-end analytics projects including requirements development, exploratory data analysis, data wrangling and data quality checks on final delivery to the client.\nAssist in the communication of insights and the implementation of solutions across the\nundefined\nExperience you’ll need to have:\n7+ years of experience in payments industry with strong knowledge of Core banking, ACH, Wire, Check or Card processing.\nProficiency in SQL, Computing language such as Python, preferably PySpark. \nStrong working knowledge of data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake & Azure or NoSQL Databases \nExperience with reference data management tools and building data dictionaries\nBusiness requirements analysis and Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment with multiple stakeholders including business, product development, architecture, and engineering teams. \nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field. \nExperience that would be great to have:\nKnowledge of Banking transactions, Digital Payments, BillPay transaction data, ACH Payments, Wire payments, Card payment and/or Check Payment transactions. \nProficiency with statistical data analysis and pattern recognition techniques (e.g., SVM, regression, classification, clustering, time series). \nExperience with entity resolution involving business or consumer. \nHow you’ll work:\nThis role is on-site Monday through Friday.
