You will combine strong leadership, technical expertise, and operational oversight to drive technology delivery, support strategic initiatives, and ensure operational excellence across a complex enterprise environment.\nWhat you’ll do:\nLead, coach, and develop a team of mainframe developers, engineers, and technical analysts responsible for application delivery, production support, and platform stability\nOversee the full lifecycle of technology initiatives, from planning and design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing support\nManage team capacity, workload prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery commitments to ensure successful execution of strategic objectives\nPartner with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and application development teams to identify business needs and deliver effective technology solutions\nDrive operational excellence by monitoring application performance, production support activities, service levels, and delivery outcomes\nEnsure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, security requirements, and development best practices\nIdentify and mitigate delivery, operational, and technical risks while proactively communicating status, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders\nFoster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction\nExperience you’ll need to have:\n8+ years of experience leading software development or IT teams\n5+ years of hands-on mainframe technology experience in MVS, CICS, COBOL, JCL, MQ, etc.\n5+ years of experience in managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical delivery management\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience\nExperience that would be great to have:\nExperience within financial services, banking, or card processing environments\nExperience managing application support, technology delivery, or operational teams\nFamiliarity with project management methodologies, agile practices, and continuous initiatives\nHow you’ll work:\nFiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech, this role is on-site Monday through Friday\nThis role requires flexibility to work overtime that may include non-standard hours and weekends\nThis role requires use of a computer and audio equipment\nTravel:\nApproximately 0-5% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected\nSponsorship:\nIn order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future\nSalary Range\n$103,000.00 - $168,000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York.
