In this role, you’ll work across data center networking, security, cloud connectivity, SDN, and network automation while helping drive new technologies from proof of concept through production adoption.\nYou’ll have the opportunity to solve complex networking challenges, influence architecture decisions, automate infrastructure delivery, and serve as a technical mentor to other engineers.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDesign and deliver highly available data center, network security, cloud connectivity, SDN, and automation solutions.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and vendor solutions through technical assessments and proofs of concept.\nDesign and support complex multi-data-center and multi-tenant network architectures.\nEngineer underlay and overlay architectures using technologies such as BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, and VRF.\nDevelop and manage advanced routing policies, including complex BGP route manipulation.\nSupport Internet connectivity, public IP management, peering, and DDoS protection.\nAutomate network provisioning and configuration using Python, Ansible, Jinja, APIs, YAML, JSON, and related tools.\nPartner with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to drive adoption of new network capabilities.\nTroubleshoot complex network performance, routing, availability, and connectivity issues.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.\nExperience you’ll need to have:\n6+ years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting complex enterprise or data center networks.\n5+ years of experience supporting multi-data-center and/or multi-tenant environments.\nStrong expertise with BGP and dynamic routing, including complex routing policies and route manipulation.\nExperience designing highly available underlay and overlay networks, including MPLS, EVPN, and VXLAN.\nExperience with SDN technologies such as SD-WAN, NFV, and cloud connectivity/peering.\nStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VRFs, OSPF, BGP, IPsec, MLAG/vPC, STP, Anycast, SSL/TLS, and related technologies.\nExperience with network automation and infrastructure-as-code concepts using tools such as Python, Ansible, Jinja, GitLab, NetBox, and vendor APIs.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, military experience, and professional experience.\nExperience that would be great to have:\nLarge-scale Layer 2/Layer 3 data center network engineering.\nCisco IOS-XE/NX-OS and Arista EOS.\nEVPN/VXLAN-based data center fabrics.\nComplex BGP routing and traffic-engineering policies.\nVMwarenetworking and infrastructure technologies.\nPCI DSS environments.\nInternet peering and DDoS protection.\nNetwork automation, configuration templating, and API-driven infrastructure.\n\nHow you’ll work:\nFiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech.\nThis role requires use of a computer and audio equipment\nTravel:\nApproximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected\n Sponsorship:\nTo be considered, you must be either a US Permanent Resident or a US Citizen\n#AtlantaJobs #OmahaJobs #AtlantaTech #OmahaTech #NetworkEngineering #DataCenter #NetworkAutomation #BGP #EVPN #VXLAN #Arista #Cisco #FiservCareers #LI-CD1\nThis role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Maine or Washington.\nIt is unlawful to discriminate against a prospective employee due to the individual's status as a veteran.\nPlease note that salary ranges provided for this role on external job boards are salary estimates made by outside parties and may not be accurate.\nThank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
