If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.\nJob Title\nSenior Software Engineer - Spanish BilingualAbout your role:\nIn this role, you will contribute to the development and support of the cloud-native Vision NEXT platform - Fiserv's next-generation, cloud-native card issuing and payment processing platform built on microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture - leveraging APIs, event-driven architectures, AWS services, and real-time authorization capabilities. You will serve as a technical resource for application development, integration, troubleshooting, and client implementations while helping provide software solutions for our LATAM partners.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign, develop, test, and implement software applications supporting Fiserv's Vision NEXT platform.\nDevelop and support REST and event-driven integrations - RabbitMQ, webhooks - applying retry and idempotency design patterns for reliable delivery.\nDevelop and support integrations utilizing APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.\nBuild and maintain API test automation using RestAssured, Karate, and Postman/Newman.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex application, connectivity, and production support issues.\nWork closely with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure platform stability, performance, and reliability.\nParticipate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices.\nSupport cloud-native applications deployed within AWS environments.\nMonitor system performance and assist with root cause analysis for application and network-related issues.\nExperience you'll need to have:\n6+ years of experience in software development, software engineering, or related technology disciplines.\n3+ years of hands-on experience with Java.\nHands-on experience with REST and event-driven integrations - RabbitMQ, webhooks - and retry/idempotency design patterns.\n2+ years of experience developing or supporting applications within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.\nExperience working with APIs, microservices, and distributed application architectures.\nExperience troubleshooting application performance, connectivity, and integration issues in enterprise environments.\nBilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and/or military experience.\nExperience that would be great to have:\nExperience within financial services, payments, banking, or fintech environments.\nKnowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN connectivity, firewalls, load balancing, and SSL/TLS.\nExperience with cloud-native architectures, event-driven systems, APIs, and real-time transaction processing platforms.\nAbility to write technical specifications a development team can build from.\nExperience deploying and supporting containerized applications on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift, including networking, scaling, and troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with networking technologies including firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and hybrid cloud connectivity.\nExperience supporting applications in AWS environments.\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools.\nImportant information about this role:\nThis is a fully onsite position, Monday through Friday.
