The Payments team owns the core transaction platform that processes billions of dollars in volume, serving hundreds of thousands of small and mid-sized businesses globally. We are not just building typical UI screens; we are constructing a highly reliable, low-latency transaction engine that guarantees correctness in every swipe, dip, tap, and click\nWhat you will do:\nWork on any of the following: building microservices, building accessible, beautiful, responsive user interfaces, and exploring ways to expand to new markets and regions.\nPush the envelope on modernizing our stack; from code to infrastructure.\nOwning one or more of the web apps that are written in React + Typescript and the backend consists of multiple Java microservices connecting to MySQL.\nWill work on our payments products like hosted checkouts, virtual components etc, which allows our merchants and consumers to use a variety of different purchase options to make purchases, and improve the user experience on the site to make the site experience seamless and beautiful.\nAs a full stack engineer, you will be expected to work on building new features, contribute to architecting solutions for new features, and ensure all code delivered to production is stable and well-tested.\nServe in a shared on-call rotation to investigate full-stack application failures, mitigating both UI defects and backend system outages to maintain a seamless user experience.\nWhat you will need to have:\n5 years of working experience building software with combined experience with a server-side language (e.g. Java) and front-end technologies (JavaScript/HTML/CSS)\nKnowledge of a Single Page App framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)\nExperience with API design and REST APIs .\nExperience with Java development experience.\nUnderstanding of Database technology such as MySQL/Oracle or NoSql DB.\nKnowledge of automated testing practices\nExperience designing and implementing new features from the ground up\nWhat would be great to have:\nExperience in the Payments domain or eCommerce Solutions.\nExperience with AI Platforms\nSalary Range\n$140,000.00 - $210,000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Sunnyvale, California.
