About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Fisher & Paykel for a 12-month contract as our Brand Design Integration Lead, playing a pivotal role in connecting strategic intent with creative execution and helping shape how our brand is experienced across markets and channels.

Based at our state of the art new Global HQ in Penrose, Auckland and working in our Hybrid way of working, you'll work across Brand & Content, Marketing Design, Global Marketing, Global Product Lines, Digital and Marketing Design Systems, bringing together diverse inputs and priorities to create clarity, alignment and momentum.

You'll translate business and marketing objectives into compelling brand experiences, helping shape strategic roadmaps, narratives, exemplars and content that are consistent, scalable and aligned to our brand and messaging frameworks.

This is a role for someone who can move confidently between strategy and execution. You'll understand the bigger picture, while knowing when to get into the detail to make sure the work is right. You'll coordinate complex initiatives across multiple teams, help sequence content and deliverables across priority campaigns and NPI launches, and ensure our brand is consistently and meaningfully expressed across physical and digital environments.

You'll also play an important role in the continued evolution of our brand systems, working with Senior Brand Designers and Marketing Design Systems to develop playbooks, toolkits and exemplars that make it easier for teams across the business to create distinctive, high-quality brand experiences.

This is where you come in...

You'll be an experienced brand, design or content professional who enjoys bringing people, ideas and creative execution together. You'll be equally comfortable working with senior stakeholders, designers, marketers and digital teams, and will bring a strong understanding of what it takes to turn strategy into great work.

You'll bring:

  • Professional experience across brand design, content or creative execution, ideally within a design-led business or mass to premium brand.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating effective branding and creative execution across digital, print and integrated campaigns.
  • A strong understanding of visual design principles, brand systems and the practicalities of delivering integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience translating strategic direction and messaging frameworks into clear, compelling and executable creative outputs.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives, bringing together competing priorities, stakeholders and dependencies to deliver outcomes.
  • The confidence to influence and challenge stakeholders, while building trusted relationships across Marketing, Design, Digital and senior leadership groups.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to balance brand ambition with customer needs and broader business objectives.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills, with a highly organised and structured approach to getting things done.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with After Effects and Premiere would be advantageous.
  • A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Design or a related discipline is desirable.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who thinks like an owner, takes action fast and has the courage to challenge the status quo. You'll know when to step back and see the whole picture and when to get into the detail, make decisions and move work forward.

You'll bring energy, clarity and craft to the development of brand-aligned storytelling and systems, while creating an environment where ideas can be challenged, explored and improved. You're curious about design, technology and how brands evolve, and you're motivated by creating work that has a genuine impact on people's lives.

As this is a 12-month contract, you'll be someone who can quickly build relationships, understand our brand and ways of working, and make a meaningful contribution from the outset. You'll bring the confidence and experience to get up to speed quickly, identify opportunities and create momentum across a complex stakeholder environment.
