In this role, you will be accountable for delivering profitable growth across assigned product categories, partnering closely with global and local teams to deliver outstanding product outcomes. You will be the recognized subject matter expert for your product portfolio, deeply understanding the market, the customer, and the competitive landscape to shape strategy and deliver results.\nYou Will\nStrategic Planning & Execution\nLead the planning and execution of product line initiatives, including new product introductions, portfolio optimization, and pricing strategies aligned with global imperatives.\nManage cross-functional stakeholder engagement across Retail, Builder, Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience, and Sales Enablement channels.\nTrack and report on product line performance and initiatives to Executive Management and cross-functional partners locally and globally.\nProduct Line Management\nServe as the category subject matter expert, maintaining a deep understanding of the product portfolio, brand positioning, and pricing strategies.\nMonitor the competitive landscape (retail and builder channels) and proactively identify and respond to market changes.\nLead portfolio optimization, advocate for high-performing products and phase out low-performing products in line with Fisher & Paykel's strategic and financial goals.\nCollaborate with Marketing to ensure seamless execution of product strategy across all customer touchpoints.\nPartner with Operations to manage order phasing and forecasting for new launches and existing models.\nProvide regular and robust market insights to Global Product Line teams, including opportunities and recommendations for new products or enhancements.\nNew Product Introductions\nProject manage new product introductions (NPIs) end-to-end across in-market channels.\nCoordinate with Global Product Managers and in-market teams to maximize the impact of new product launches.\nOversee NPI market set-up administration and quarterly pricing workstreams.\nLeadership & Influence\nAct as the trusted category subject matter expert and a passionate advocate for the Fisher & Paykel brand locally.\nRepresent and advocate for the Canadian market with global cross-functional collaborators.\nInfluence and engage senior stakeholders at both local and global levels.\nHealth & Safety\nTake all practicable steps to ensure personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.\nComply fully with all Health & Safety legislation, regulations, and company policies.\nReport all hazards and incidents promptly.\nYou Have\n5+ years of Product or Category Management experience within consumer goods or CPG industries, with a proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional product launches to market.\nUndergraduate degree, or other relevant tertiary qualification.\nStrong financial acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to drive informed commercial decisions.\nDeep understanding of product line levers required to deliver profitable growth and a world-class, end-to-end customer experience.\nProven project management skills across multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders, keeping plans current and visible.\nStrong cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with local and global Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and Product Development teams.\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills - clear, concise, and impactful.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office Suite, with the ability to quickly adopt new systems and tools.\nCommercial awareness of trade practices, regulations, and legislation at state and federal levels.\nThe base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000. This range is a guideline and may not reflect your exact offer.
