The role is full-time and hybrid.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS GROUP\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop new consumer products from concept through production using 3D CAD modeling and prototyping.\nCollaborate closely with industrial designers, engineers, product managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.\nCommunicate with global suppliers and sourcing offices to meet technical and quality requirements.\nParticipate in design validation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport cost optimization efforts by identifying opportunities and implementing changes to technical specifications.\nStay informed on emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive innovation.\nIntegrate sustainability by using eco-friendly materials, improving durability, and optimizing designs to reduce environmental impact.\nWHO YOU ARE\nExperience:\nMSc/BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in product development with a strong focus on mechanical design.\nProficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and understanding of plastic and metal part manufacturing technologies.\nStrong problem-solving and ideation skills with attention to detail.\nFamiliarity with prototyping tools and methods.\nPositive attitude and ability to give and receive constructive feedback.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.\nSTART YOUR JOURNEY AT FISKARS GROUP\nWe are eagerly awaiting your application.
