Overview:

Join our FP&A team and take ownership of the analysis that informs our growth. You will maintain forecasts, work directly with budget owners, and turn financial and operating data into clear management reporting. You will report to the Senior Financial Analyst, who reviews key assumptions and recommendations, and collaborate with Go-to-Market, our People Team and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain financial forecast models in our FP&A software, Sigma Computing.
• Maintain the revenue forecast model, updating assumptions with the Go-to-Market and Sales team.
• Coordinate monthly reviews with budget owners; update expense, hiring and headcount forecasts; and explain actual-to-budget and actual-to-forecast variances.
• Document assumption changes and follow up on approvals while preserving approved budgets and forecast version history.
• Maintain the KPI workbook, executive and departmental reports, and projected year-end metrics; support board data requests and IRAP reporting inputs.
• Reconcile forecast outputs across FP&A software and spreadsheets, improve spreadsheet controls, and develop practical ways to automate recurring forecast updates.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • Two years of relevant FP&A, financial analysis or business finance experience, and equivalent demonstrated capability owning recurring planning work.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong spreadsheet skills, including driver-based models, scenario analysis, reconciliations, clear assumptions and error checks.
  • Working SQL proficiency to query, join, aggregate and validate data used in financial analysis.
  • Sound understanding of revenue, expenses, headcount planning and financial statements; confidence explaining variances to non-finance colleagues.
  • Strong organization, written communication and follow-through across multiple stakeholders and monthly deadlines.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Proven relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed individual who can manage multiple initiatives and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Sigma Computing or another BI platform, HubSpot, SaaS or fintech business models
• CPA/CFA designation or progress toward one. A degree in finance, accounting or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is welcome.

Compensation Package

FISPAN believes in an atmosphere and culture when innovation can flourish, collaboration and teamwork are valued and transparency is at the core of it all. We want our employees to see how the ideas they help generate today have an impact on how we do business tomorrow. With that, the hiring salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on comparable market data from companies of similar employee size, revenue and location. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive semi-annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
