It all starts with our purpose and then, The Five Below Way, which is our values and behaviors that each and every crew member believes in.\nIt’s all about culture at Five Below, making this a place that can inspire you as much as you inspire us with big ideas, super energy, passion, and the ability to make the workplace a WOWplace!\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThe Senior Director of Product Management, Supply Chain is accountable for defining and driving the product strategy, roadmap, execution, and value realization for technology capabilities that enable Five Below’s distribution, transportation, warehouse, global trade, fulfillment, and supply chain analytics operations.\nThis leader owns a multi-year portfolio spanning transportation management, warehouse management, yard and labor workflows, global trade, supply chain data and reporting, AI-enabled optimization, and the technical platforms that keep these capabilities secure, stable, and supportable. The role partners closely with Supply Chain leadership to prioritize outcomes, sequence investments, manage capacity and dependencies, and translate operational needs into scalable products and measurable business value.\nThe Senior Director will lead the modernization of critical supply chain technology platforms and the delivery of data-, analytics-, and AI-enabled capabilities that improve visibility, planning, and operational decision-making. This leader will balance strategic transformation with day-to-day product accountability for uptime, performance, support, risk management, and continuous improvement across a geographically distributed supply chain network.\nJob Responsibilities:\n1. Supply Chain Product Strategy and Roadmap\nDefine and own the multi-year product vision, roadmap, investment strategy, and value framework for Supply Chain Technology.\nPartner with Supply Chain executives and operational leaders to understand business priorities, pain points, decision workflows, and desired outcomes across transportation, distribution, fulfillment, global trade, and analytics.\nTranslate business strategy into clear products, capabilities, measurable outcomes, and sequencing decisions.\nLead roadmap prioritization across transformation initiatives, business capabilities, technical debt, operational stability, vendor commitments, and team capacity.\nAnticipate changes in retail, logistics, distribution, and supply chain technology to ensure products can evolve with the business.\nEstablish transparent decision-making for scope, dependencies, tradeoffs, risks, funding, and resource allocation.\n2. Supply Chain Platform Modernization\nDirect the product strategy for TMS modernization and rollout, including business process alignment, integrations, readiness, adoption, and post-launch value realization.\nLead the product strategy for WMS modernization across e-commerce and retail distribution operations, including discovery, target capabilities, configuration and integration, pilot learning, rollout sequencing, and site readiness.\nMaintain executive visibility into the platform modernization critical path, including vendor constraints, shared dependencies, delivery risks, and mitigation options.\nEnsure modernization programs deliver operationally viable solutions-not only technical implementations-through process design, change enablement, training, adoption, and benefits tracking.\nPartner with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations to ensure platforms are scalable, secure, resilient, observable, and supportable.\n3. Business Capability and AI Delivery\nBuild and maintain a prioritized portfolio of business capabilities that improves supply chain efficiency, service, cost, flexibility, and risk management.\nPartner with Data, Analytics, and AI teams to deliver supply chain data, analytics, and AI platforms that provide trusted visibility into performance, issues, and opportunities.\nShape and prioritize supply chain AI use cases for optimization, planning, capacity, labor workflows, exception management, and operational decision support.\nEstablish clear processes for validating assumptions, interpreting outputs, agreeing on actionable recommendations, and measuring adoption and business impact.\nEstablish value hypotheses, adoption measures, success metrics, and outcome tracking for each major capability and AI use case.\nPromote responsible, explainable, governed, and human-centered use of AI in operational workflows.\n4. Product Operating Model and Delivery Excellence\nLead and develop a team of product managers responsible for discovery, prioritization, requirements, delivery, adoption, and value realization.\nEstablish clear product management standards for vision, roadmaps, customer discovery, OKRs or success metrics, acceptance criteria, release planning, and lifecycle management.\nGuide multiple agile and cross-functional delivery teams to deliver business value frequently and predictably.\nCoach product managers to create high-quality stories, clarify outcomes, manage dependencies, and stay engaged with business partners throughout delivery.\nCreate an operating rhythm for intake, prioritization, roadmap reviews, quarterly planning, risk escalation, product health, and value measurement.\nEnsure project estimates and roadmaps account for keep-the-lights-on work, problem management, incident response, and ongoing platform support.\n5. Stakeholder, Vendor, and Risk Leadership\nBuild trusted partnerships with Supply Chain leadership, Merchandise, Distribution Center Operations, Transportation, Global Trade, Finance, Stores, e-commerce, Data and AI, Engineering, Security, and Enterprise Architecture.\nProactively identify opportunities and recommend practical, technology-enabled solutions that address stakeholder needs, remove operational friction, and advance business outcomes.\nCommunicate complex technology, operational, and risk issues in simple, timely, and decision-oriented ways.\nManage strategic vendors and implementation partners, holding them accountable for delivery quality, performance, support, cost, and business outcomes.\nLead build-versus-buy evaluations, vendor selection, contract input, implementation governance, and total-cost-of-ownership decisions.\nMaintain executive-level visibility into critical dependencies, including shared data, integration, location master, platform, vendor, and site-readiness dependencies.\nEnsure critical incidents, product health issues, and business-impacting technology risks are escalated, resolved, and converted into durable improvements.\n6. Team Leadership and Culture\nCultivate a culture of accountability, autonomy, recognition, learning, customer empathy, and continuous improvement.\nDevelop product leaders who can operate effectively from strategic planning through operational detail.\nChampion user-centered design and high adoption by grounding decisions in the experience of distribution center associates, transportation teams, global trade users, supply chain analysts, and business leaders.\nCreate an environment where teams test assumptions learn quickly, communicate openly, and make decisions based on data and business value.\nQualifications:\n12+ years of progressive experience in product management, supply chain technology, logistics technology, or related technology leadership roles, with 5+ years leading product teams at enterprise scale.\nProven experience defining strategy and delivering products across warehouse management, transportation management, distribution, fulfillment, logistics, or global trade.\nStrong understanding of retail supply chain operations, including distribution centers, e-commerce fulfillment, retail replenishment, yard operations, carrier management, cross-docking, labor workflows, and transportation networks.\nExperience leading large-scale packaged software implementations and custom application development in an Agile and DevOps environment.\nDemonstrated experience with technologies such as:\nWarehouse Management Systems and comparable enterprise warehouse platforms.\nTransportation Management Systems, carrier connectivity, and logistics rate or network management.\nYard Management Systems and distribution center operational workflows.\nGlobal Trade Management, customs, HTS classification, tariff and duty, and PGA compliance.\nSupply chain data platforms, CDC, streaming data, operational reporting, and operational visibility.\nAI, optimization, prescriptive analytics, or agentic capabilities applied to supply chain operations.\nIntegrations, APIs, EDI, master data, observability, security, and platform lifecycle management.\nExperience managing complex, multi-year roadmaps with shared teams, competing priorities, hard deadlines, and significant business or operational risk.\nStrong vendor-management experience, including implementation partners and enterprise software providers.\nProven ability to establish product governance, operating models, prioritization mechanisms, and measurable value realization.\nExecutive communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align stakeholders across a matrixed organization.\nEmpathic, hands-on leadership style with the ability to move between strategic context and operational detail.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.\nSuccess in This Role:\nDeliver a sequenced, value-based Supply Chain Technology roadmap aligned to Supply Chain priorities and organizational capacity.\nModernize transportation and warehouse platforms while protecting operational continuity and managing critical deadline and vendor risks.\nImprove supply chain visibility, decision quality, productivity, service, cost, and compliance through data, AI, and operational products.\nBuild an accountable, high-performing product organization that partners effectively with Engineering and the business.\nEstablish durable product, platform, and vendor practices that make supply chain technology easier to operate, scale, and improve.\nExplore our benefits site to discover all the perks and support we offer!
