In this role, the AGM coaches the staff to deliver exceptional service and genuine hospitality, ensuring that guests leave with experiences they want to share with family and friends. The AGM also leads the Golf Experience Team, guiding guests through their Five Iron Golf journey, ensuring guest satisfaction and engagement. This position focuses on highlighting the fun and excitement of the sport, while creating an environment that emphasizes the unique experiences Five Iron Golf offers.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nDrive revenue in Simulator Rentals, Food and Beverage Sales, and League sales.\nParticipate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of all staff, managing the onboarding and continued education of new hires.\nActively evaluate employee performance to ensure day-to-day business needs are met.\nManage and oversee all operations of the social side of the business, including leagues, simulator rental experiences, event execution, facilities maintenance, food & beverage service, and social staff scheduling.\nSet and uphold above-and-beyond service standards for all staff\nSupport the efficient operation of the space by monitoring and reducing labor and other operating costs.\nMaintain an understanding of the location’s P&L and assist in local marketing efforts.\nAcquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products and services, including technology, lessons, leagues, memberships, as well as spirits, beer, wine, and food and beverage offerings. Use this expertise to confidently sell and cross-sell across various offerings.\nEngage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.\nBuild relationships within the community, foster loyalty with customers, and encourage repeat business through proactive engagement.\nManage with and through associates to deliver an exceptional guest experience by overseeing pre-visit communications, onsite interactions, and post-visit follow-ups.\nHandle administrative tasks related to sales transactions and customer service inquiries.\nCollaborate effectively with team members to align efforts and achieve business goals.\nOversee the sales, execution, and management of Five Iron Golf leagues and one-off tournaments throughout the year (Fall, Winter, and Summer seasons).\nTake pride and ownership of each Guest’s enjoyment and fun at Five Iron Golf, ensuring guest satisfaction and engagement at all times.\nEnsure that the location adheres to health and safety regulations and operates in compliance with all local laws, including alcohol service laws\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of hospitality management experience, with at least 1 recent year as Assistant General Manager or General Manager.\nStrong leadership ability with a willingness to lead by example.\nExemplary communication, time management, and organizational skills.\nUpbeat energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.\nAbility to think on your feet and manage customer expectations.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with a team.\nAvailability to be present in the space on evenings, weekends, and holidays.\nAbility to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time, and maneuver up and down stairs.\nAbility to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location.\nBenefits (*applies to full-time employees):\nHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance*\nLong and Short-Term Disability*\nAccident and Critical Illness Insurance*\n401(k) *\nMeals while working are included for free\nPay: $20 - $22/hr + event gratuities and bonus potential of up to $10k\nTotal estimated compensation: 50K+/year\nJob Type: Exempt, Full time\nSchedule: Nights and Weekends Required\nFive Iron Golf is committed to celebrating diversity and creating an inclusive environment for employees of all backgrounds.
