We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment, empowering our employees to be their authentic selves. \nFive9 is looking for a Senior Learning Experience Designer to join the Revenue Enablement team and design learning experiences that help sales professionals build capability, improve performance, and drive business results.\nThis role partners with business leaders, subject matter experts, and learning professionals across the globe to build solutions that support sales enablement initiatives, from needs analysis through evaluation. The right candidate brings instructional design expertise, creativity, and project management discipline to deliver learning programs that move the needle on real business outcomes; not just completion counts.\nKey Responsibilities\nLearning Design and Development\nDesign and develop engaging learning solutions, performance support tools, and sales enablement programs for global audiences.\nApply instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and performance consulting practices to create impactful learning experiences.\nLead projects through the full development lifecycle, from analysis and design through storyboarding, development, implementation, and evaluation.\nNeeds Analysis and Performance Consulting\nConduct learning needs analyses and translate business requirements into effective learning strategies.\nServe as an internal consultant by identifying performance gaps and recommending learning and non-learning solutions.\nMeasurement and Continuous Improvement\nDevelop measurement and evaluation plans that assess learning effectiveness and business impact.\nResearch and incorporate emerging learning technologies, trends, and best practices into program designs.\nCross Functional Partnership and Project Delivery\nCollaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, program managers, and fellow learning professionals to build high-quality solutions.\nUse project management skills to deliver learning initiatives on time and aligned with business objectives.\nSupport a collaborative global team environment that promotes innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.\nLead complex, high-visibility learning initiatives and influence senior stakeholders, from defining the learning strategy through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.\nCandidate Requirements and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field is a plus.\n7-10 years of experience designing and developing learning solutions, ideally including experience with global sales or revenue-generating audiences, is required.\nDemonstrated knowledge of instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE and adult learning principles, is required.\nStrong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills are required.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is required.\nExperience collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams is required.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset are required.\nProficiency with modern authoring, multimedia, and digital learning platforms, such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Cloud, is required. Experience administering or developing learning within Docebo is a plus.\nExperience supporting revenue-generating organizations is highly recommended.\nKnowledge of evaluation methodologies, required. Experience on the Kirkpatrick Model is preferred.\nExperience designing learning solutions for global audiences is required.\nExperience measuring business impact and learning effectiveness is required.\nSales enablement or sales training experience is highly recommended.\nExperience using generative AI and emerging technologies to accelerate development, personalize learning, and improve performance support is highly recommended.\nExperience applying accessibility standards and inclusive design practices, including WCAG, to digital learning solutions is highly recommended.\nWork Location: This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (T, W, TH) in our San Ramon office is required.\nAs part of our continued commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Five9 supports pay transparency during the entire recruitment process.
