You will be directly responsible for ensuring the scalability, resilience, automation, and performance optimization of our DNS & Kubernetes environment by leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Python and Terraform\nThis is a deeply technical role requiring expert-level understanding of DNS, Kubernetes and extensive working knowledge on Linux Operating systems. You will also collaborate with platform and SRE teams to maintain secure, performant, and multi-tenant-isolated services that serve high-throughput, mission-critical applications. \nKey Responsibilities \nImplementand support large scale DNS Architecture that stretches private & public cloud across multiple regions.\nImplement and support Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, IPAM, DHCP), Cloudflare DNS management, Google & AWS DNS services.\nImplement and support multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters leveraging BareMetal servers and Software defined storage protocols.\nImplement Infrastructure as code leveraging CI/CD automation, Ansible, Terraform/Pulumi, Python and Bash for automated provisioning of DNS services.\nImplementcontinuous delivery pipelines for Infrastructure updates, including patch management, service upgrade testing, and rollback procedures. \nDevelop automated monitoring, alerting, and healing mechanisms using GitOps principles and observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Loki, Grafana).\nHarden services for high availability, disaster recovery, and scale-out operations.\nPerform deep-dive troubleshooting and performance analysis of Infrastructure services across hypervisors, backend storage protocols and networking layers.\nBe involved in Change management and Global team collaboration\nParticipate in on-call rotation, incident response, and root cause analysis for platform reliability issues.\nMinimum Qualifications \n5+ in managing global DNS & Kubernetes on Linux Operating Systems.\nExpertise with Infoblox DDI systems (or similar enterprise DNS systems), Bind9, CloudFlare, GCP and AWS DNS services.\nExpert knowledge in managing Kubernetes and Ubuntu Linux systems.\nProven experience automating infrastructure processes and deployments using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD pipelines, with demonstrated ability to drive and scale a culture of automation.\nStrong Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) systems engineering background with advanced scripting inPython, Bash, or \nFamiliar with various Infrastructure technology stacks like Hypervisor Technologies (KVM, Vsphere,), storage protocols (SDS) (iSCSI, NFS, CEPH), L2/L3 Networking\nStrong experience supporting mission critical 24x7 customer facing production environments.\nAbility to write technical documentation and contribute to community wikis or knowledge bases.\nPreferred Qualifications \nGood understanding of overall Enterprise Common Infrastructure service implementations with a focus on DNS & Kubernetes.\nUnderstanding of security best practices for system patching and security compliance (e.g., CIS, NIST).\nBackground in telco, edge cloud, or large enterprise infrastructure environments.\nExperience building and maintainingautomated test environments for system upgrades and DNS migrations. \nBachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience and relevant industry certifications will also be considered.\nWhat You’ll Get \nA collaborative team that’s deeply invested in infrastructure excellence.\nComplex technical challenges that require creative, scalable solutions.\nThe opportunity to shape a next-generation private cloud platform-built reliability.\nAccess to the latest tools, frameworks, and upstream project developments.\nSkills and Attributes: \nAnalytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to translate complex, cross-domain requirements into scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure and automation solutions.\nCollaboration & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, including developers, operations, security, and product stakeholders.\nMentorship & Leadership: Passionate about knowledge-sharing and mentorship, with experience guiding junior engineers and fostering a team culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence in cloud engineering and DevOps practices.\nWork Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 30 mile radius of one of our offices.
