We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment, empowering our employees to be their authentic selves. \nSr. Supervisor, Payroll and Accounting\nJob Responsibilities\nPayroll Operations & Administration\nEnd-to-End Processing: Manage, review, and approve regular and off-cycle payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, benefits, and deductions. \nPartner with external payroll service providers and local compliance agencies to ensure seamless operations and resolve any escalated issues. \nStatutory Remittances & Tax Filing: Oversee the calculation, deduction, and timely filing and payment of local payroll taxes and statutory contributions (such as withholding taxes, social security, Pag-IBIG, and health benefits) \nPayroll Accounting & GL Integration\nDirect and review balance sheet reconciliations, payroll bank account statements, and unreleased payroll. \nReview payroll data and ensure accuracy of journal entries posted to the General Ledger, ensuring synchronization between payroll and accounting records. \nManage month-end close processes for all payroll-related expenses, including tracking and recording of accruals, variances, and department allocations. \nLeadership & Audit Readiness\nTeam Supervision: Guide, train, and mentor Sr. Payroll Analysts and Staff by assigning tasks and reviewing their work to ensure maintain operational efficiency. \nEnsure adherence to internal company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards, serving as the primary point of contact for both external and internal payroll-related audits.\nEvaluate current workflows, lead system upgrades or migrations, and propose automated solutions to streamline processes.\nQualification: \nMust be a CPA\nAmenability to work full onsite for the entire probationary period (6 months)\nHybrid work arrangement after regularization\nA minimum of 5 years related work experience in payroll processing and general ledger functions, with at least 2 years in leadership or supervisory role.\nExperience with computerized accounting systems (preferably NetSuite), timekeeping software; and payroll systems.\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel includes Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, and complex logical formulas.\nKnowledge of government-mandated payroll regulations (DOLE, BIR, SSS, PHIC, and HDMF) and applicable PEZA requirements\nStrong communication skills\nPerform ad hoc tasks as needed\nCompany Benefits\nCompany stocks\nAnnual merit increase based on performance\n15% night shift differential pay\nPaid Leave with Cash Conversion\nHMO with free dependents\nRetirement Plan\nLife Insurance\nWhile on work from home setup: Internet and meal allowance are provided\nEmployee Assistance Program for mental and social well-being\nGovernment-mandated Benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, PagIBIG, 13th month pay, Solo parent leave, Special leave for women)\nFive9 embraces diversity and is committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
