An ideal candidate for us is an experienced engineer who is passionate about building high performance cloud platforms with automation first mindset and a brilliant problem solver and a creative self-starter.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBe part of Cloud Platform Infrastructure Team, focused on building hybrid-cloud solutions.\nBuild automation capabilities towards common abstractions, tools, automation for CI/CD and progressive delivery of Cloud Native applications.\nEnable all Five9 development teams with Cloud Native developer workflow, conduct developer training and toolset to automate software delivery with a focus on Scale, HA.\nDesign, and build secure, highly scalable, enterprise grade platform Tools.\nDocument and communicate clearly of architecture and implementation solutions.\nWork closely with product managers, architects, testers, and development teams.\nTroubleshoot and support current Cloud platform in production.\nKey Qualifications:\n7+ years of professional DevOps / production operations experience.\n5+ years of Cloud Native application delivery experience.\nStrong Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.,\nIntimate knowledge of public cloud infrastructures (GCP - Preferred, AWS, Azure).\nHands-on experience working on core Cloud services - Kubernetes, Compute, Storage, Network, Virtualization, Identity and Access Management (IAM).\nExpert level in Current technology Stack Helm, K8S, Istio, GCP, AWS, GKE, EKS, Terraform, SRE/DevOps practices or equivalent.\nStrong proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), to be responsible for building robust platforms using automation.\nExperience building automation and deploying high quality software with test frameworks and CI/CD, Progressive Delivery.\nStrong development experience in one or more programming languages - Python, Terraform, Golang, Java, etc.\nAdvanced knowledge of Linux based systems and runtimes.\nDevOps mindset and familiarity with the concept of Site Reliability Engineering - inherent sense of ownership through the development and deployment lifecycle.\nYou understand what it takes to run mission critical software in production.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, work independently and work collaboratively in an agile environment.\nWorkplace location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside Porto, Maia, Matosinhos, Gondomar, Valongo e Vila Nova de Gaia.
