This individual is part of the firm’s Technology division but sits on the trading desk and is embedded in the technical operations processes of the firm. The task set is roughly split evenly between desk facing activities and light coding tasks often in collaboration with full time development staff.\nDuties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nFirst point of contact for traders utilizing the firm’s trading systems\n\nInstall, configure and monitor critical trading applications\n\nIncident management via ticketing system and documentation\n\nCollaborate with developers for all operational processes supporting trading applications\nRequired skills:\n\nStrong problem solving and multitasking abilities\n\nExperience with Python, bash and MySQL on Linux is required\n\nExcellent communication skills\nRange reflects annual base salary.
