Provides leadership and support as needed with the Contract Coordination GroupJob Description\nWhat you will be doing:\n\nProvide leadership support to assist the Contract and Internal Coordination Supervisor with job coordination/planning, safety, crew critique, employee development, or other tasks as needed.\nInspect and accept or reject contractor work for compliance to safety, design and construction standards and construction quality.\nAssure contracted construction projects flow smoothly.\nResolve customer's concerns associated with work performed by contractors.\nDocument construction events to protect AEP's interest from future claims.\nAssure contractor invoices are accurate, complete and reasonable.\nProvide feedback concerning contractor performance to Contract Administration for use in future contracting activities.\nCertify acceptability of contractor's work for invoice approval and payment.\nAssume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nHelp support IFR job inspections and document any design changes that are needed.\nWhat we are looking for:\nDistribution System Inspector Associate: SG 05: $63,496-$79,369\nEducation requirements are listed below: High school diploma or GED.\nWork Experience requirement listed below: Thorough knowledge of distribution work processes, procedures and safety standards. Typically, an entry level position, but based on experience/previous job classification there could be adjustments to the entry level.\nDistribution System Inspector: SG 06\nEducation requirements are listed below: High school diploma or GED.\nWork Experience requirement listed below: Thorough knowledge of distribution work processes, procedures and safety standards. Minimum two years experience as a Distribution System Inspector Assoc. or equivalent related experience.\nRequired License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving safety record.\nOTHER REQUIREMENTS:\nPhysical demand level is Sedentary .Typically second step of progression in job family or can be entry level based on previous experience/job classification.\nDistribution System Inspector Senior - SG 07\nEducation requirements are listed below: High school diploma or GED plus a two year' technical degree or 5 yrs distribution construction experience preferred.\nWork Experience requirement listed below: Thorough knowledge of distribution work processes, procedures and safety standards.
