This role focuses on incident response, task execution, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure refresh activities, ensuring compliance with NERC CIP standards and regulatory requirements.Job Description\nWhat you’ll do:\nEssential Job Functions & Tasks\nProvide day-to-day support for network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) in a regulated environment\n\nRespond to and resolve network incidents, outages, and service degradation\n\nExecute operational tasks and configuration changes in accordance with change management and NERC CIP requirements\n\nPerform lifecycle refresh activities including hardware/software upgrades and replacements\n\nIdentify, track, and remediate network vulnerabilities in alignment with NERC CIP cybersecurity standards\n\nSupport firewall configuration and maintenance (Cisco ASA, FTD, Fortigate)\n\nEnsure compliance with NERC CIP controls including access management, configuration management, patching, and audit readiness\n\nMaintain documentation to support regulatory audits, evidence requests, and compliance reporting\n\nParticipate in a 24x7 on-call rotation\n\nRequired Experience & Skills\n5-7+ years of network operations or engineering experience in a large enterprise or regulated environment\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, and firewall technologies\n\nExperience supporting incidents, lifecycle upgrades, and vulnerability remediation programs\n\nKnowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security best practices\n\nExperience with network monitoring and logging tools (SolarWinds, Splunk)\n\nFamiliarity with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management)\n\nPreferred Experience & Skills\nExperience in NERC CIP, Nuclear, or other highly regulated environments\n\nExperience with IPAM/DDI solutions\n\nCisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\nEducation requirements are listed below:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.\n\nWork Experience requirement listed below:\n7 years of relevant work experience is required.
